Great place to grab a coffee and a bite to eat and very friendly staff

Great to get us a table for 11 people within the hour on our drive back from Snowdon, the food was lovely, service was quick, and good pint.

We had a fabulous night there last night for a 70th birthday party. Lovely food, endlessly helpful staff (even coped with lighting 70 candles on the cake!) and a welcoming relaxed atmosphere the whole evening. Thanks everyone!

Great place to eat. I always enjoy my visits to the Black. I'd recommend it anyone. I don't know how the 2 star review got there but yblac is definitely 5 out of 5 from me

Beautiful meal thank you, nicely cooked and presented, nice surroundings, friendly staff, couldn't fault it. will be coming back next year from March to October and very glad we have found you! Update, July 18. fabulous meal here again, dogs made very welcome and brought elderly friend with us who said it was the best steak he had had in a long time! My lemon sole was lovely and churros were an excellent pudding! Thank you, will be back!!! UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2019. Still excellent, lovely meal, dogs very welcome, hopefully back again very soon!!!

Very nice a courteous staff, the beer was kept really well and complemented the food well. All dinners highly praised their dishes including my wife's and I veggie options. The desserts were fantastic having only just enough room after generous portions.

The decor and staff are lovely and the veggie option of mushroom tagliatelle is by far the best iv had with a rich creamy sauce and wild mushrooms of varying types. The cheese cake I had was deconstructed with amazing biscuit to the side, tarte fruit next to it that was yummy but the cream cheese main bit of the pudding was bland an lacked flavour. Over all an amazing place to eat.

Lovely pub with very nice food. Stopped there for lunch on day 2 of a 3 day trans-Wales road bike trip. Great hospitality and would recommend.

Fabulous place for drinks or a meal, has a great selection of gin and local beers, an excellent menu and an amazing Sunday lunch.
