I recently visited Nehar Indian Takeaway while staying at Garth Newydd for a Welsh language course. The korma I had was delightful, with rich flavors and a generous portion. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the naan bread was excellent. Shahzad provided friendly and welcoming service. I highly recommend Nehar and will definitely return next time I'm in Lampeter.

We are on holiday in Lampeter and decided on having an Indian takeaway. The meal was absolutely delicious. The guy who took the order was really friendly and polite on the telephone. Also on collection was really lovely. Brilliant service. Would highly recommend it. Hopefully if we visit again we will definitely be having another takeaway. Many thanks 😊

I've been to Indian restaurants all over the UK, including some very good ones in Bradford, and I have to say. Nehar is the best of them all. Would recommend the Lamb Sally, the Murghi Marsala, and the Chicken Rogan Josh 👌👌

Our first takeaway in Lampeter, Great vegetarian mix of dishes and really tasty for us all. Grandparents to 2-year-olds loved it. Will be coming back.

Alright food, waited 40 odd minutes for our takeaway after arriving at the time we were told to. Asked the guy to check everything was there, passed him a list. He just said everything is there, and when we got home the chips were missing. Not great on a £90 order and in a semi rural location where you can't just nip back for something. Food wasn't as good as previous visits.

Called in a phone order just after 6pm and was told to collect at 7:30. We arrived at 7:20, by 8:15 our order was ready. I asked to check the order was complete, he checked his notes and assured us it was all there. When unpacking the order we found to be 2 portions of chips down which we had been charged for. Half the order was hot, half was cold, I think it had been sat in the back for a while. Definitely won't be ordering again due to both the quality of customer service and the food. Awful.

I have this cuisine once or more a week either homemade, restraunt or takeaway, and I can honestly say that it took me back to the 1970's when I was first introduced to the cuisine & fell in love with it. Although I come from an area that is renowned for Balti style, I am a traditional straight forward curry person & this takeaway meal was the reason I have to make this review because it was how I remember it. To the owners! Please do not try to change the way you are performing, this is the food that I want & I hate when a business's make changes because certain people who haven't got a clue about the history try to adapt. Well done & If you could arrange free delivery to Birmingham, I would definitely be a frequent customer.

I strongly recommend you don't use this curry house me and some friends went here on a night out the meal was poor an the sevice diabolical with the waiter ripping me off for £20 that he put in his pocket steer clear

OMG !!! Thats the best Indian food I’ve had for a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection. The rice was awesome as were the naan. This place is a must visit if your a real Indian food lover like myself. Well done 👏👏👏

We were here for a family holiday and thought we would order takeaway on our last night. We phoned to order over the phone to collect . We had a couple questions just before ordering the first lady we spoke to wasnt sure so she asked another person. The man was extremely rude over the phone when we asked what the thali included as it didnt say, after he told us he said we should phone back when we know. All we wanted to ask is that one question! We then asked if they delivered he said no and hung up. Extremely disappointed with the customer service. Avoid when visiting

I strongly recommend this place. The food was delicious and on time and reasonably priced. The gentleman who took my order was friendly and helpful. Do not be put off by the drab exterior or interior. It’s a great takeaway restaurant!

read good reviews of this place so we drove out of our way a bit to try it and it was actually good. most of it was just fine (keep in mind im very used to asian food and have a high standard so 'fine' is actually good, and some was really good. we ordered a meat bhuna, chick pea curry, dal, and a fish curry. fish curry was super super hot so i struggled with it but i enjoyed it. my fave was chick pea. husbands was the meat. but we werent disappointed with any of it.👍🏻

Worst takeaway we have ever eaten. No taste or flavour. Rude staff, had to wait an extra 20 minutes after order time. Dishes missing from order and unsure if charged for the missing items. unable to contact. Unsurprisingly found a hygiene score of 3 after purchase. would give ZERO stars if possible!!

Just had the best Bhuna and Roon curries ever, congrats to the chef. As always great personal service. Rice is however an afterthought dry and no flavour.

Always great service and brilliant food

I've been going here for a couple of years now and the food has never disappointed. Great service too. Korai Lamb is a must and my other half will always have chicken malawa.. I've thoroughly enjoyed the vindaloo, madras and Balti dansak. It's all good though, tasty and reasonably priced. Top job..

My favourite Takeaway. No ultra brightly coloured dishes swimming in oil - lovely natural tastes and good value. Obviously popular in the area - everyone that comes in seems to be a regular.
