Always a lovely welcome. You can go in for a pastry and coffee at cheap prices, or a more expensive meal. Owners go out their way to deliver good service, which is why they have repeat customers. Lasagne recommended with cheese. A rare gem. ✨️

Food is always fresh and delicious. Ice cream is so yummy too. Staff are always friendly and brilliant with kids too. Always very kind.

Had some chips for lunch. They were hot and tasty. Service was effecient and friendly. Went and sat on the seafront to eat.

A 5 out of 5 experiance for eating lunch, the staff are a delight and the conversations they have with customers make the waiting and hunger easier. Will definetly be back for a coffee and a cake.

Delivery was quick. Food was good ,fresh and piping hot. Definitely the place to go for good food and good value. Great choice and some good deals to be had.

You will struggle to find a better fish supper and at a good price. Service always cheerful too. Townhead Street is the main low road through Stevenston so easy to find

I came with my friend in to the Viking Cafe in Saltcoats the service was outstanding I got the fully loaded fries and was outstanding love this highly recommend 🙌🙌

The primary reason to visit any restaurant is for the food and this one is excellent. The lamb is exceptional and recommended to all. The decor and ambiance is also first class and the toilets are spotless. Don’t miss this one we will definitely be back 👍

A great visit to the nonsuch, had a great welcome from Gemma, tender to Our drinks perfectly whilst we sat at the bar and looked at the menu, our table was ready for us but there was no rush whatsoever. After being seated we we need treated so well, from the drinks, the food and the live entertainment it was all Perfect. Even if it wasn’t perfect (which it was) the actions of the lovely staff would have made up for it. Writing this whilst I’m still in here listening to great live music before taking him a lovely cake. Thanks again to Gemma and all the staff for making the visit a great one. Keep up the good work. Was the best bakers by a long shot now I have stopped buying rolls as they are very much poor standard now. Spoke to one of the bakers indicated to miserable to put flour on them anymore What a shame

I luv the food from here the best Indian restaurant in saltcoats id say . In fact in the 3 towns never had a bad meal out it been going there for years .

Promised myself I would go in one day as I come from Saltcoats originally and I am a Railways nostalgia freak. Had to wait on my train on a pouring wet day so in I went. Charming young lady was very welcoming and efficient had a filling bacon roll and a lovely LARGE strong coffee. Spotlessly clean and all the other customers were served in a friendly helpful manner. Well done ladies ticked all the boxes.

Stopped in whilst out cycling for a coffee and cake. This was the perfect place with seating indoors or out, bike stands for the cyclists and water bowls out for the dog walkers. A great community resource that encourages people to enjoy the outdoors. Friendly, welcoming staff that created a lovely atmosphere to sit and enjoy our refreshments. We tried the coffee and the gluten free chocolate crispy cake… the coffee was as good as I’ve tasted in other coffee shops and the cake was fantastic. We’ll certainly be stopping in again whilst cycling down this stretch of the coast.
