We order from here often and have never been disappointed. We also have walked up and sat outside a few times which is also lovely. The paninis and salad boxes are excellent and the cakes are to die for! Our family loves it. The staff are always so helpful and friendly.

This is an amazing little bakery and it's easy to understand why it's so popular. Can't believe I haven't been sooner. I definitely won't leave it too long before returning!

Unfortunately my whole visit was not good from the girl that served me - no communication. Looked totally fed up to be there. Got order wrong (obviously as was so disinterested when taking order) Shop not busy but order took a while to come. My french toast was so greasy. Very disappointing On a previous visit I had the same experience with same waitress - almost a bother to take order

We did have a problem with a foreign object our food, however the way the manager investigated the incident and admitted the that the issue was theirs was refreshing. Overall happy with the final outcome.

On this occasion, I collected an Afternoon Tea for Two on Friday 21 February for my friend and myself. It was a feast of scrumptious delights from start to finish, especially the huge meringues!! The Weston Tavern is everything you could want from a local pub – warm, welcoming, and totally community-centered. We had the pleasure of visiting today during the Kilmaurs duck race, a brilliant charity event that brought the whole village together. The atmosphere was electric – families lined the burn cheering on their ducks and the pub was at the heart of it all. After the seating area was packed with locals enjoying the sunshine, great food, and cold drinks (check the photo – the vibe speaks for itself!). It was incredibly family-friendly – our little one had an absolute blast, topped off with an ice cream and a big smile to match (see photos) The staff were friendly and on-the-ball, and the whole place just radiated that rare sense of community spirit. Whether you’re stopping by for a pint, a meal, or to join in with a local event, The Weston Tavern is the place to be. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

First time in over a year, been many times in past. This time, disappointing. Prices higher than similar type establishments and portion sizes not what they used to be despite this. Fat on the bacon topping my burger was almost raw. Salad bland, used to come with a lovely dressing. Small basket of fries. £19 for an underwhelming burger. A family member had a chicken dish, again £19. One chicken breast, a tiny portion of rice, some sauce and a chopped carrot that didn't belong on the plate. A bowl of maccaroni £17 and much smaller than in the past. Two desserts, £8.50 each for the tiniest piece of fudge cake and only marginally larger cheese cake which was more of a firm mouse. Finally £4.50 for a pint of lemonade. Eating out isn't cheap anywhere decent now but if im going to be charged such as this, I expect good food and not to feel as though I'm still hungry.

Had a tandoori mixed grill with madras sauce and friend had Chicken biryani with a korma sauce! Absolutely delicious and staff remembered what l had previously .Service excellent, and free spiced onions and poppadoms lovely ! Great meal as usual that's why l travel from Ayr! 5*

I have no idea how this place is able to operate, nor how it has positive reviews. The air is overpoweringly musty and the place has the dank atmosphere of a funeral home. I couldn't drink my tea as there was a reek of mold on the teacup I was given. The scones were awful, hidden by a thick layer of jam and cream that only served to make them somehow worse. Avoid like the plague - this place isn't quaint, it's just awful.

Great wee bar with a good selection of beers. Friendly staff too.

Raw potatoes in Cullen skink, haddock tasted and looked like cod. Won’t be back.

Booked in for Sunday lunch, there was 6 of us plus 4 kids and an infant, staff couldn't have been more attentive even though it was busy, the food was exceptional, most opted for the Sunday Roast and general consensus was that it was cooked to perfection, starters were amazing too. All in all a great experience and we will definitely be returning!!

Place has closed down permanently. Telephone cut off and no longer works. Don't bother trying to go there. ...........

Love this place. Fab freshly cooked food. Small menu but everything is made there and then and cakes and desserts are homemade. Staff are so welcoming and prices are very reasonable. Good selection of take away cakes, cheese and pies.
