The thai van - bit of an institution in Dyce. We called late morning to order and pick up at lunchtime but the massaman curry specials and all noodles were sold. Looks like they’re open from 9am so earlier you phone the better must be. The beef in black bean sauce and satay chicken were both really tasty with good quality meat. The lady is really friendly, knows her returning customers and runs a slick service, prices not bad.

Only one night spent at this hotel to break up the journey between Edinburgh and Inverness. It's impossible to judge the surroundings since we didn't stay long enough, but the hotel itself is superb and high-quality. Free parking. Access to the upper floors by badge in the elevator, very spacious room, perfect bathroom with a very modern and powerful shower. Nothing to complain about. The breakfast is also a hit; there's truly something for everyone, nothing is missing. It's truly impeccable.

Lounge is compact but in line with the airport size. When I visited there were plenty of tables and seats open. Large breakfast spread with lots of juice and caffeine options. Didn't partake in any alcohol but they had it all. Bathrooms were spotless. Above all staff were my favourite part. I was struggling with a sick fussy baby and they were so helpful in offering highchair, and separate private area. The perfect way to relax before a long travel day.

If you're looking for a hotel for one night near the airport, this is the perfect place. You can reach the Moxy in 10 minutes on foot, and you can use the covered walkways for half the walk. Various car rental companies are located near the hotel. The Moxy itself is a well-maintained, large hotel building. The interior is very modern. The rooms were very clean, air-conditioned, and the bathroom was small but perfectly adequate. The room and bathroom also have the option of indirect lighting. There's no desk in the room itself, just a shelf. However, if you're looking for a workspace, there's a large desk in the lobby with all the necessary connections to charge your laptop or tablet. The wall design is very modern, but that didn't bother us as a family. Each guest receives a welcome drink, with or without alcohol. The staff is very friendly, and breakfast offers everything your heart desires, from muesli to custard swirls, from toast to a full Scottish menu. In the evening, it's possible to eat in the lobby. After a week in Ireland, we were all happy to have a mixer tap in the bathroom, a large sink, and EU plugs for all appliances. With the windows closed, we couldn't hear anything from the nearby airport. We thought the price/performance ratio was great. A real recommendation!
