It was out go-to shop for kebab but we’ve had multiple issues with deliveries (cold food, missing garlic bread, salad constantly being left off despite asking for it) that we’ve decided to look elsewhere.

Great Cinema Screen within the town hall. Good pricing with large public car park close by. Ideal location.

You can’t get through to this place , it’s engaged constantly then it just rings out constantly

Great wee Chinese. So gutted to find out they haven't been busy enough since they opened so they're closing . I love the place. Everything always cooked to perfection. Staff very very polite and the takeaway is as clean as could be. The munchies box is filled to the Brim and always perfectly crisp and well cooked with great flavours and presentation.

Had a beautiful meal with my Husband and twin boys celebrating the end of thier school exams. Our waitress Naimh was so helpful and polite , unfortunately her shift ended before we personally got to thank her, although I managed to pass on our thanks to the manager at the time. As a family we will be back again. Thank to Naimh for making our experience so pleasurable, I hope your kindness, manners and respect is noticed with the work place. Heather laswson

Decent food let down with the WW2 portions.

Class wee kebab shop, the curry's, deserts, munchie boxes, milkshakes, you name it it’s amazing. Definitely would recommend 💯

First time going back for a meal since new owners took over. Doubt, I will bother going back. Asked for mussels as a starter, completely inedible. The Steak was OK however only around half of the sweet menu was in stock. If you are looking for a European style meal steer clear.

Only went in here for a couple of pints at Easter weekend because it was hot and I wanted a cold beer. Received a warm welcome when I walked In to the bar and was served straight away and when I went back up they knew what I was drinking and started pouring. Friendly atmosphere and the other customers talk to you and you don't feel threatened or awkward. Would definitely recommend and I've been back a couple of times.

Never delivered after 2hrs of waiting i'm disabled and cant pay for any more food as i have no money and either wont get my money back or i'll have to wait 7 days so i wont be eating tocday

Went for a meal with an old friend , was quiet when I entered , ordered a meal from the bar sat at a table drinks and food were served rapidly . good choice from menu at reasonable prices. very friendly staff and family and children welcome. PS it's not called the boar's head anymore it is called Thistles . well done charlie the barman for his excellent hospitality 👍👍👍

Cold inside,music set in 60s,no TVs on (apparantly not working since the storm 7 weeks prior). One barmaid on duty,but that said the one on duty was clearly not up to the task of having 7 people in the bar. Poor show. Went next door for a meal which was superb but wouldnt go near the bar again unless things change.
