The best restaurants in Meadows / Morningside Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

First time in this snack bar and I can only say that everything was excellent. The dishes are varied and very delicious and I confirm that it is indeed homemade. I highly recommend it. The owner is very friendly and welcoming.

Chaskaa is my number 1 curry take away service. Like most Indian curry lovers, I have tasted many curries throughout Edinburgh and Chaskaa Punjabi Murgh - one of their specials is the best I have ever had and will continue to have. Their Chicken Pakoras are the best we have ever had, just as the onion bhajis were delightful. I have recommended this place to work collogues who have visited the restaurant to eat in and loved my recommendation: Karahi, Punjabi Murgh, both dishes they loved. I have been in the restaurant to collect my order and the staff are the best, I mean really could not get nicer people, very friendly and who take the honour of serving you, the same goes for the delivery person , we have seen a few different drivers and every single one of them makes you feel like 5 star service, the food, the packaging, the staff, everything is perfect. I would recommend. Just an FYI, you get money back on each order, its like a points loyalty system, on average we get £2 on each order back into our chaskaa account, it feels great after a few orders you end up with a free curry or even a free meal.

Probably the most delicious Napoleon pastry I have ever eaten. Will make a habit of coming here again and again.

What a lovely wee find of a cafe to have a cuppa and you missy have one of there lovely cakes .. Just what we needed on a cold Sunday afternoon . Thanku ++++

I was looking for a birthday cake for my brother. I wanted something which would not only look amazing but also taste great. Kalina provided outstanding customer service. She answered all my questions, she was very open to what I wanted and came up with some ideas too. It was a pleasure to meet her in person as Kalina is very friendly and warm person. The cake she made for my brother was exceptional! Fresh,full of rich flavour and not too sweet. Very tasty!

Me sorprendió mucho encontrar jugo de caña de azúcar fresco en Edimburgo. Me encantó el servicio! ¡Excelente producto y buen falafel vegano también! Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

guardería era sobrino y necesitaba una buena comida cerca. Encontramos este pequeño café y lo que una delicia. Sábado fuera en el sol y pedimos una sopa para sobrino y espárragos, aguacate, brunch de huevos escalfados para mí. comida realmente deliciosa, bien presentado y un gran servicio. Volveremos para probar el resto del menú.

Como otro negocio local a la vuelta de la esquina este es mi lugar para el almuerzo. No puedes hacer bien la comida básica de superar, especialmente cuando se trata con un excelente servicio al cliente y a precios fantásticos. El buen casero horneado también es una delicia y tengo una leve adicción al pan de plátano!

Went there today and sat in for a fresh pastry and an Americano. They have fresh pastries, soups, and a relaxed atmosphere with a few tables, great artwork, and other assorted goods to purchase. I would highly recommend this place. It has been under the name of Kafe Kweer for awhile now.

This is one of the best places to go if you want fun and play pool,snooker,darts,poker or even table tennis,this place is behind the old post office in Morningside road ,the staff there look after you from start to finish

Was a regular when I lived here 3 years ago and have now been back and it is the same as ever. Amazing service from such a lovely owner, the most delicious authentic african wraps whose quality has not changed, and great value/price. Cute atmosphere to sit in for a casual meal out, highly recommend!

The team was very welcoming, the food was delicious and the great choices for wine covered all tastes. We had the Ploughman’s with the Chorizo, and would highly recommend!
