The best restaurants in Castle Stirling Central Scotland

Waste of time and petrol. I called the restaurant on a couple of days before we were due to attend a birthday meal. I told the staff I had a booking on Saturday (this being the Thursday) and asked if I could drop a birthday cake in to have with the meal. I explained that I live around 1.5 hours drive away and this is why I couldn’t drop it off on the day. I asked if I could drive through to drop it off that evening. When arriving the man said ‘sorry I thought it was for tomorrow we can’t take it’ I drove a 3 hour round trip to confirm they would take this cake before a family meal, to be told ‘nope’ and having to return back was such bad service.

This was a nice little cafe for lunch, Savoury crepes, choose your own fillings. Nice hummus and salad garnish. We would go back again.

Absolutamente increíble! El dueño nos agradó en la puerta, nos dio un tour, explicó todas las opciones de postres disponibles. Nos encantó ver la pasión! ¡El servicio al cliente 1000/10! Sin duda volveremos el año que viene.

Excellent food. Great ambience and superb service. Sahil was on his own and gave us great advise as to which dish to order , which suited our taste. Truly a great experience. Will surely be back .

Hay cafés y luego hay cafés. Buenos tíos. Uns equivocados. Todos hemos experimentado ambas cosas. El fin de semana tomé una porquería blanca de una calle autoproclamada especialista en café y salí de un novato local (ish) sin siquiera comprar una taza, ya que el aceite - granos empapados en su tolva, me dijo que no hablaban en serio sobre su producción. No hay preocupaciones en Unorthy. La joven, frente a la casa, respondió a la pregunta de qué leche funcionaba mejor con su asado casero, expertamente y sin dudarlo, demostrando que sabía sus cosas. Pregúntale a alguien lo mismo en la próxima cafetería que visites y si te dan una respuesta, te sugiero que busques en otra parte. Excelente café (bangin ', blanco plano muy bien texturado) . . excelente personal . . excelente espacio (ocupado, también . . cuenta su propia historia, a las 2 pm un miércoles) . . . excelente y sabroso pastel. Una experiencia espléndida, de principio a fin. Inclínate, Unorthies. Me atrevo a decir, rock...

Stopped here whilst shopping in Stirling. Must say the staff were all very nice and friendly. The coffee was great and the scones awesome. Definitely highly recommended (especially the bacon roll!)

So glad we came across this cafe, I popped in with my 3 children last week while on a trip to Stirling, food was absolutely amazing ! And they can make coffee too! ☕️. Wish I lived nearer guys, because I'd definitely be back. 2 of my children had pancakes, one with blueberries and one had bacon and scrambled egg,they absolutely loved them. Me and my daughter had BLTs, again the best blt I've ever had, lovely food, thank you !

Kleine koffiezaak in het centrum van Stirling. Koffie is lekker en de eetmogelijkheden uitgebreid. Vriendelijke knusse zaak.

Super warm welcome and truly DELICIOUS food!! We will definitely be back. It truly is a hidden gem not to be missed in Stirling.

Bonnie wee cafe based in Stirling city centre with cosy decor, homely feel and Wifi. Service was quick, friendly and cheerful ! Only popped in for takeaway coffee and cakes today (Bourbon Brownie and Cinnamon Bun) for the hike up Ben Mieke. But I will definitely be back for brunch and pancakes another day (because I saw someone eating the banana pancake stack and it looked incredible!) Both cakes were absolutely delicious; the cinnamon bun was particularly tasty! And trust me as a coffee snob, I can definitely approve the divine Oat Latte ! Worth the visit and will definitely return again for more sweet treats and coffee in future.

My mum and I recently decided to try out this cafe for lunch and we were very impressed with the tapas/small plate dishes, and with the cake. The food was fresh and delicious. Today I went back with my baby and found it to be a lovely cafe to breastfeed in as well - there is a small family area at the back which is lamp lit and affords some privacy. The staff are very friendly, and were particularly good when I was flustered with a hungry baby today. This is just what Stirling was needing - my new favourite cafe!

Wow wow wow!!! Livia and her hubby were so welcoming. My partner was in a wheelchair which they accommodated for. Livia does a brilliant job of operating the front of house. Her hubby (apologies did not get his name), cooks the most amazing food. My parter had the signature chicken and noodles and gave it top marks. I had the seaeed rolls and kimchi, and gave it top marks. We can't wait to go back!!!

Personal amable y clientes! Ambiente sociable y muy buen servicio. Comida preparada fresca y rápidamente. Tuve una patata al horno con mayonesa de atún y una ensalada de acompañamiento - muy sabroso. Panadería casera también en oferta. Bien vale la pena una visita - para la comida y también para apoyar a un pequeño negocio local, independiente.

A cloudy, mild Saturday morning. I googled 'best bacon roll in Stirling' and The Beany turns up on more than one occasion. So, that's that. Sometimes it's all in the moment. Rugby fields all around, takes me back a looooong way, to my school rugger days. Hills and Wallace Monument as a backdrop. Perfect. So..flat white. Very nice...a little too much froth, but that's nitpicking, as the milk texture is well done. Specialty beans too...well played. Bacon roll. Splendid, quality bacon. The roll? Well, I think it might be a cross-muffin/roll I've seen in a supermarket, so whilst it's not my fave roll ever, it works perfectly well with that luvverly bacon. Perfect way to start a Saturday. Thank you Tin types...you kept a misty-eyed, retro-ist very happy...
