Imagine you come back by train to stirling after a long day in edinburgh. Tired, grumpy and hungry walking through the streets. All you want is a coffee from unorthodox roasters. But the place is closed and the vinyl shop beside also. Then you meet a guy walking to his car and saying „how are you?“. You have a little chat about coffee and other things, ending with a present (grinded coffee) to take home to germany. Happens only in stirling, scotland, in front of unorthodox roasters. The guy we met was Neil, the owner of the place (unorthodox roasters), who reopened his place just to give us this present to save our day! Unbelievable! Thank you so much, my friend, we enjoyed the coffee a few minutes ago back home in germany freshly made with our little espresso maker! I loved this place. I lived in Japan for many years and I loved the way the did their coffee. It reminded of how the Japanese do theirs. I also thought the food was excellent!

Phenomenal!!!!! The best lunch of smashed avo, feta, ham & honey topped on the nicest, most 'normal-tasting' GF bread I have had in a long time. The service matched the food; first-class. Thank you!!

Had a long wait between trains so went for lunch and a hot drink here. Delicious chai latte and possibly the best avocado toast I’ve ever had in a cafe. Avo, feta, pomegranate and honey. So good. Friendly staff, choice of indoor or outdoor seating, and a laptop-friendly upstairs area. Will make a beeline back here whenever I’m in Stirling and work my way through their menu.

Stopped in today for a sit down whilst waiting on a MOT and am so glad I did. The staff were so friendly and made genuine recommendations, Dale in the kitchen made me a Bombay chicken sandwich which was delicious. The presentation, smell, and taste was to a very high standard and Jake on the coffee machine made my drink to perfection with a smile on the side, highly recommend stopping in for a bite and a chat with the great staff.

Loved this little place. A really friendly vibe and a pleasant courtyard garden. Gluten free more than catered for with a very tasty sandwich, excellent gf bread! Could have had a few more choices of gf cake though. Excellent coffee as you'd expect served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would definitely visit again.

Great little place! Perfect oat flat white. Amazing slice of ginger loaf. Enjoyed their outside seating which was quiet and sun-splashed at 1:30pm on a weekday. Attentive staff. Their food looked great too, but I didn't have any room for a lunch.

My husband and I came across this place when visiting family in Stirling. We came back every day! The coffee is amazing and the food was great as well. The menu was small but what they did, they did really really well. I'd highly recommend coming here, especially if you are a coffee lover.

We were missing our daily dose of matcha and lapsang tea, so we were happy to find this place. The quality of the matcha was really good and both the matcha latte (oat milk!) and lapsang tasted amazing. We accidentally also ordered two cakes (hate it when that happens) and they were delicious too!

First time visit and was very impressed. I am a bit of a coffee snob but the cappuccino was fabulous. The Portuguese tart was to die for. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic wee find. Had an oat flat white and it was made perfectly, with rich dark chocolate and caramel hints. Also had the smashed avo toast, what a great combo with the almonds, raspberries and blueberries. Was so tasty. Look forward to visiting again tomorrow...

I love this wee coffee shop. The coffee they serve is truly amazing. They also have a limited but gorgeous selection of cakes, including gluten free options. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. And there's a lovely rear garden to enjoy... weather permitting.
