Wonderful little bakery in Aberfoyle. We popped in to find some treats to take home after our holiday- ended up buying half the shop lol! Staff were delightful and very friendly and can be watched making the shop's goods. Lovely products from traditional Scottish gifts to biscuits, cakes, jams and chutneys. All very reasonably priced and packaged so beautifully we bought lots of items as gifts. We bought a Mars tray bake, lemon and elderberry and Tea cakes, shortbreads and numerous flavours of cookies. All were absolutely delicious and melt-in-the-mouth. An absolute must-visit if anywhere in the area. Will definitely be ordering more online, thank you!
Visited the sister cafe in Broughty Ferry. Really enjoyed the Brownie, which was one of the best I've tasted. The coffee was very good too. We had the Four Seasons blend, which I think is the house blend.
We will be back, and will try the Brechin Cafe the next time we are there.
We chose the premium rosete menu for a special birthday and it was flawless - sous vide salmon and filet steak cooked to perfection! Every element was delicious down to the peas. Rob is friendly and professional, would highly recommend!
Really delicious breakfast. Not just the bacon but all the other bits to! Very much recommend to anyone passing by. They also sell thier bacon to take away.
Ordered an afternoon tea for my gran’s 80th birthday. Staff are very accommodating to allergy and dietary requirements when placing the order as my grandad does not eat chicken. When I picked up the afternoon tea, staff warmly welcomed and quickly served us despite it being busy. When I unboxed and served the afternoon tea for the party, we were amazed with the amount of food we had. A variety of sandwiches such as a range of chicken options, ham and cheese, cheese and pickle, tuna and egg mayo. Each box had one sausage roll, scone with jam and butter, two choc dipped strawberries and different types of tray cakes. We were so impressed with the amount of food and the quality (the scones and choc strawberries went down a treat with the grandparents!) Will 100% use Sally’s for future afternoon teas.
Shanti Tea Boat, what an absolutely fantastic breakfast at the canal side location in Kirk Sandhall. (Mobile) I would have tried the cakes 🍰 but she had sold out but the bacon and egg sandwiches, coffee and waffles are out of this world. I will definitely be back.
This was our fourth visit to the Aroma. The service is always good, the staff very friendly and attentive. The food is so fresh and tasty. We have eaten in many Indian restaurants and the Aroma is now one of our favourites. Try it out - your wont be disappointed!
Wow wow wow!!!
Livia and her hubby were so welcoming. My partner was in a wheelchair which they accommodated for. Livia does a brilliant job of operating the front of house. Her hubby (apologies did not get his name), cooks the most amazing food. My parter had the signature chicken and noodles and gave it top marks. I had the seaeed rolls and kimchi, and gave it top marks. We can't wait to go back!!!
On a very wet day we were recommended to come here and were not disappointed. Warm and friendly welcome, excellent service and delicious lunch. Akira and Carol both attended to little details without asking - ie Carol serving an extra large portion of chips when I declined other veg that were on the menu (brother in law pleased to help me out!) and Akira giving my sister a takeaway box as she couldn't manage the whole of her panini. Brillliant. I live in Devon so may not be passing through again but would wholeheartedly recommend visiting.
We stopped in for some ice cream after having dinner at a nearby restaurant on Argyle street. We had a great time getting to know the owner. The ice cream was truly excellent and we all enjoyed every bite. The owner was friendly and encouraged us to try as many flavors as we liked. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!
