Local farmer breeds buffalo and sells locally. The burger van is excellent value for money. If you think you can manage two burger rolls think again. One is definitely enough to satisfy anyone's hunger pangs. Great value for money with all fresh produce sourced locally with a good variety of home bakes.

Great variety of food on offer from the van, and it all tastes amazing so far! Pulled buffalo in a roll, so tasty I couldn't stop licking my lips after, buffalo curry... Yummy, and the buffalo burgers with onions and relish... It's the best and great value too! The staff are very friendly and helpful too.

We payed a visit to Bremners at the Dounby Show twice. Our family of 6, 2 adults and 4 children enjoyed a lunch which totalled £23, which was a great price for us and very reasonable for a show. I personally ordered an Italian Buffalo Burger, which consisted of Buffalo burger, homemade (delicious) pesto, sundried tomato and mozzarella cheese....YUM. The only thing i would have liked with it, which next time I'll ask for, is a napkin. Our 2nd visit that day, which was late afternoon, was for a hot drink. While we were looking at other vans to have a drink, Bremners offered the best price for their tea's, coffee's and hot chocolates, and they didn't disappoint. Good food, lovely coffee and very friendly.

Just had my first chili burger from Bremners. A tasty buffalo burger topped with spicy chili, mushrooms and onions. Great taste and great chat.

Genuinely some of the best food I've ever eaten, and so much more than you'd ever expect to find on a burger van. Everything's homemade and tastes great. I'm a real buffalo convert!

This hotel has very lovely rooms, all with an amazing view. The dining room has a conservatory with a view! Nicely decorated rooms with a tartan touch, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, superb power showers and hot water, with good WiFi signal in the room. Food in the restaurant was delicious with lots of variety on the menu and the specials. Staff were all lovely, Warm, friendly, helpful and the service was excellent. Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before so it’s served very promptly at the time of your choosing. If you are stopping anywhere on the Islands, book a room at this hotel, you wont be disappointed.

Sailed here, having started in Bodo, Norway. Enjoyed Westray and the Pierowall Bar/Restaurant. All 3 of us were happy with our food in the restaurant and drinks from the bar. Realised there was what seemed like a 'locals' bar when I walked to the toilets.

Just back from staying 3 nights in the wonderful very dog friendly Lynnfield Hotel in Kirkwall. We have stayed in several other hotels in Kirkwall but none of them came up to the standard of the Lynnfield Hotel. Malcolm and his staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome than they did. Our room, the Melsetter Suite was just wonderful. A fantastic mira shower and a space age jacuzzi bath etc etc! The food was simply delicious. We had intended eating elsewhere on one of the nights but after dinner in the Lynnfield Hotel the first night we continued to eat in house for the duration of our stay. For dog owners, look no further. All the staff are very dog friendly. Rusty our Welsh terrier can’t wait to go back! Very highly recommended.
