The best restaurants in Bangor Castle North Down South Eastern NI

Have visited here few times now. Can only say it is one of the best cafes in Bangor. Can highly highly recommend. I had BLT on lovely fresh white bread with beautiful garnish. My mother in-law had (she said) best french toast and bacon. Can't wait to go back.

Called in for a takeaway coffee, have to say was the best flat white I've had.Good vibe in the cafe also.Friendly staff well worth the dander !

We arrived a little early but staff were happy for us to be seated. Food was excellent with great service. Friendly, helpful staff in spacious restaurant.

Heard good things about this place. Ordered the double burger with Crispy onions and salted fries. Fries ok for frozen fries. Burger was tasty but do expect to pay £10 for a burger that has tough Grissel in it. Bit overpriced for what it is.

I booked Villa Oregano for my partners surprise birthday, which was a large party. It was relatively short notice but Yildirim was the MOST helpful person ever. He could not have done enough to help! He organised the food to be pre-ordered so we got served in good time, the table was ready to go so that when I arrived with decorations I could put them on the table, and wine was on the table when we arrived! Everyone had an amazing meal (would recommend the pasta and the pizza!) and a lovely time - all of the waiters were so attentive. He helped us with the cake and even gave us a free shot at the end 🎉 will definitely be back here as the service was the best I’ve received in a long time.

Even though I'm local, I stay here quite a bit. I really struggle to find accessible accommodation in Bangor but the Premier Inn is perfect. The staff are always really lovely at the hotel and on the very few occasions I've had an issue with anything (noisy aircon, etc) they've been super willing to help. I don't drive but there seems to be plenty of parking both in front of and behind the hotel.

A grand wee place but probably not for the young and trendy. It might be described as 'a safe pair of hands' with very pleasant staff a solid if unspectacular menu and well cooked, tasty food. I guess it's pet friendly, at least in the covered outdoor seating.

I love it here. The food is delicious, the staff are so friendly. The food is freshly prepared and has never disappointed. They have a great selection of sweet treats and drinks too. Mobility scooter friendly, child friendly. I just love it

Stopped here after coming across from Downpatrick via the ferry. We were so pleased that we did, we both had a fry up. One of the best we have ever had in a cafe. Service was quick, no grease on the plate and thoroughly enjoyable. Lovely pot of tea as well. Michelle, who was in charge couldn’t have been more helpful, even though she had a very busy cafe. Top marks girls for a lovely meal for two very hungry clients.
