The best restaurants in Bangor Castle North Down South Eastern NI

Have been to Cafe Trax quite a few times. Had noticed last time I went they do lasagne. So today I tried it. All I can say this was one of best I've ever had. So so tasty, served with lovely garlic bread,slaw and skinnychips on a hot plate. Granny had beautiful freshly battered fish,peas,tartar sauce and skinny fries. She said she never eats all her food. She did today!!! Would highly recommend this beautiful warm friendly cafe.

Called in for a takeaway coffee, have to say was the best flat white I've had.Good vibe in the cafe also.Friendly staff well worth the dander !

Love this place, the food is wonderful and the friendly service is 5 star. I have been coming to Yaks since it opened and have had many a evening enjoying their tasty dishes of Indian and Nepalese cuisine. The best food in North Down

Heard good things about this place. Ordered the double burger with Crispy onions and salted fries. Fries ok for frozen fries. Burger was tasty but do expect to pay £10 for a burger that has tough Grissel in it. Bit overpriced for what it is.

We had dinner at this restaurant twice during our stay at the Premier Inn hotel. The waiters were very friendly and the food was great. The kids menu was a good offer, because with 8€ a kid has 2 dishes (starter+main or main+dessert), a drink and 2 sides to choose. For adults, there is the possibility of a Meal Deal, which has a good price including 2 dishes and a drink. If we ever stay at this hotel again, we will return to this restaurant.

First time trying this place and wasn't disappointed. Tasty and fresh

Just back home from the newly renamed Villa Oregano - sorry not sure what the new name is - but terribly disappointed - expected increased prices - new menu always expect a hike BUT did not expect to pay separately for the chips with my burger - an extra £4.25 each - felt totally ripped off - ordered meals previously and chips were included - did not expect it - was not ALERTED to it - will not go back

Great stay and ideal location very central to get about, member of staff Roshan was fantastic made our evening enjoyable and relaxing, thank you Roshan for a great stay!

A grand wee place but probably not for the young and trendy. It might be described as 'a safe pair of hands' with very pleasant staff a solid if unspectacular menu and well cooked, tasty food. I guess it's pet friendly, at least in the covered outdoor seating.

Staff are unfriendly especially towards non-white customers. They treat you like you are invisible.

Stopped here after coming across from Downpatrick via the ferry. We were so pleased that we did, we both had a fry up. One of the best we have ever had in a cafe. Service was quick, no grease on the plate and thoroughly enjoyable. Lovely pot of tea as well. Michelle, who was in charge couldn’t have been more helpful, even though she had a very busy cafe. Top marks girls for a lovely meal for two very hungry clients.

Food good ...kids meals bit on all side

Great restaurant. Sat in for a meal, Sam was very welcoming and the food was delicious highly recommend the Lamb Biryani!

When I moved to Bangor I found it hard to find a great Indian restaurant. Once I found Green Chilli NOWHERE else compares. Delicious food, great service and fast delivery. Food is never cold. Would only recommend this place if looking for a fabulous meal!
