Have visited here few times now. Can only say it is one of the best cafes in Bangor. Can highly highly recommend. I had BLT on lovely fresh white bread with beautiful garnish. My mother in-law had (she said) best french toast and bacon. Can't wait to go back.

Visited today simply for 3 bowls of potato and leek soup. Finally served half an hour later with 3 bowls of veg soup! Waitress would have amended mistake but we had not time to wait another half hour! Had planned cup of tea too but diverted to a much quicker nicer cheaper cafe. Poor slow service not recommended. Will not be back.

absolutely gorgeous fish and chips. Only bad thing to say is the fish is only sold at weekends not every day but other daily options are also gorgeous

I’m so happy they have reopened a cafe in the station. And not just any. Trax it’s absolutely brilliant place offering a massive selection of fresh cooked food. Best bacon and egg toastie in town. I’m here at least twice a week. I highly recommend popping in. You won’t regret it. Thank you team Trax.

This is THE BEST CAFE I have ever visited. There are so many superlatives is is unbelievable. Great food, intact the very very best bacon bag I've ever eaten. . The staff were very friendly and helpful it was clean ; good prices ; wide selection of food on offer. If cafes had a star system this would be 5 star . Well done all the staff. The fact it was in a station made it all seem quaint. We will take the train to Bangor again just to have lunch here

I honestly could not say enough good things about Cafe Trax. Great food, great prices and great staff. Although part of Bangor Train Station, it somehow has its own unique vibe that makes you feel very relaxed Highly recommended 😀

This place puts all other train station cafes that I have visited to shame . It has a wide menu including dairy free scones , breakfast Items and pastries , friendly staff , reasonably priced unlike major chains at main stations . Clean , kids area , well thought out . Worth a visit even if you are not getting the train. TEN stars .

We were in Bangor for 2 nights and found the Trax Cafe as we wanted to go to Belfast by train. The Cafe is directly at Bangor Train station and is just lovely. The food is really delicious and there are a lot of options for food and drinks. The staff is incredibly friendly and they even have a kids corner with some toys, games and books. An absolute gem in Bangor. I would give 10 stars if possible...well done

Amazing cafe, with lots of different food options. The food was great and I loved the coffee! I had an iced late and pancakes with fruit which was so yummy. I went several times over the week I stayed in Ireland because I loved the place so much. It’s also in a great location!

This is truly a hidden gem which I discovered on a weeks holiday in Bangor. Most definitely not just a train station coffee shop, this is so much more. It is spacious and airy and the staff are extremely welcoming (I could tell by the number of regulars they seems to have). Had an amazing cooked breakfast (the full works) which was unbelievable value. We ended up coming back twice more and were not disappointed with the sandwiches and paninis, all of which were delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Oh, and if it’s just a coffee you want, that was blooming lovely too! I would highly recommend

The cafe is conveniently located at the train station, perfect for a grab-and-go or sit down coffee date with family and friends. There is plenty of seating with a large menu selection. The scones are perfection! The workers are very friendly and accommodating. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

While staying at the Culloden we sat up in the drawing rooms several nights for drinks and fireside chats. Beautiful rooms, all the staff were helpful and quick. I guess I didn't take as many pictures as I thought but we really liked the different gins from Jawbox.

What can I say about this place? It’s hard to find a reason to visit the big city of Bangor and in-fact I used to find reasons not to visit but this Bar has changed all that and I now welcome the pilgrimage up to Costa Del Bangor like many Belfast inhabitants enjoyed before me in the heady summer days of the 60’s. Ginge’s is the perfect infusion of Aladdins Cave and Willy Wonkas chocolate factory and will have you going down a rabbit hole Alice herself would have marvelled at. A place where amazement and wonder are around every corner due to the atmosphere casually swinging from one of being on a special ops mission behind enemy lines with a crack team of Bangor veterans trying to compete a poker hand to one of casually chilling in front of an open fire with live music resembling days gone by whilst having craic and prime ministers questions with clientele you simply wouldn’t come across in your normal everyday life. From Olympians, musicians, tech savvy professionals and Dothraki bloodriders, Ginges has it all under one roof. Add to this an owner bringing in guest chefs to cook up bbq fare fitting of its surroundings and you found a niche in the hospitality sector. Ham hocks, lamb legs, sides of beef and multiple corn snacks are laid down in a feast fitting of a banqueting table of the tudors themselves. A unique experience indeed and one not to be passed up
