Really friendly Premier Inn with very helpful staff and great proximity to all local services - supermarkets, train and bus station and pubs/restaurants.

Great location within a couple of hundred yards of high street, train / bus station and castle / civic offices. I lost my key card in Belfast and replaced within a minute by staff when I reported it.

Enjoyed a short stay at this very clean and well located Premier Inn. Was staying for work but felt so very welcomed from all the team during my stay from Monday - Thursday. I only got Roshans name and he was a lovely man who worked incredibly hard under the pressure of a busy few days. All the staff went well out of there way to make guests feel valued and it was most appreciated. I also really enjoyed the vegan options for meals and was thankful you had so many varieties on offer including at breakfast time. Please keep that up as it sets you apart from others. Only criticism is the lack of staff on shift at key times. As mentioned they worked so hard and had several things to manage at once, a few more bodies might have helped. All the best - Jordan.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bangor Premier Inn, not least because of the excellent service provided by staff member Roshan. He was so friendly and helpful thank you.

I’ve been to Premiere a few times now, and one thing that always stands out is the staff. They are absolutely wonderful—kind, patient, and clearly doing their best, even when things get hectic. You can tell they genuinely care and go out of their way to turn any negative into a positive. That said, there are some ongoing issues that are hard to overlook. They often run out of food, especially during peak times, and there just never seems to be enough staff on hand. The ones who are there are constantly rushing around, clearly stretched thin. It’s a bit disheartening to see them working so hard without enough support. I really admire the effort they put in, and with a bit more backing—especially in staffing and inventory—this place could be amazing. For now, it’s a mixed experience: heartwarming service under pressure, but still with room for improvement.

A firm recommendation. Nice hotel near bus and train line into Bangor and my room overlooks park. The hotel was clean quiet and the staff I met very courteous. The room was spacious. I’m mid 70s and found the shower tricky. Needs a grab rail. Short walk into town. Which was grand.

Genuinely lovely, helpful staff. Basic rooms. Bed was far too soft for us, perfect for couples who like "roll together. " ;-) We were woken each morning by noisy doors closing from early hours. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed due to "unforseen circumstances", for the three days we were there. Our room card stopped working after one day. Free wifi is throttled right back to encourage you to buy their ultimate wifi package. While our stay wasn't terrible, it didn't live up to their "Rest Easy" slogan. Limited TV channels. Room windows don't open. Very good location. Clean rooms. Complimentary parking. Close to shops and train station. This average experience won't put us off continuing to stay at other Premier Inn hotels.

Overall, Roshan the duty manager was welcoming and friendly, We never had any of the food so can't comment on that but the restaurant looks very fancy. Plenty of parking also which was nice.

Even though I'm local, I stay here quite a bit. I really struggle to find accessible accommodation in Bangor but the Premier Inn is perfect. The staff are always really lovely at the hotel and on the very few occasions I've had an issue with anything (noisy aircon, etc) they've been super willing to help. I don't drive but there seems to be plenty of parking both in front of and behind the hotel.

Great except for the toilets very PC and if the hotel was busy would be a complete disaster. Also, the toilet paper is in little squares

Family rooms are big, clean and comfortable, good mattress and pillows (only beware that fourth bed is more like a sofa and good only for children), good breakfast, friendly staff. Excellent value for money especially for families. Location is ok.

Horrible smell of burnt fat and metal in room 109. Air purifier was in the room when we arrived and when l complained l was told by a member of staff that was the cause of the smell. Clearly not true. They know there is a problem .Here for five nights each night smell is there. Causes sore throat. Is it toxic? Do NOT stay in room 109. I can't get out.

One of the best premier inns I have stayed at me and my partner went up for one night and stayed in there deluxe rooms and I have to say is wow. On arrivals it was weekend of Mother’s Day but also went to celebrate my Partners birthday. When greeted by Steven and India with smiley and very pleasant made me and my partner feel so at ease. There was complementary bottle of Prosecco as a Mother’s Day gift from the manager and because it was my partners birthday he went out the back and gave my partner an option between Jaffa cakes or cookies as a birthday gift which he really didn’t need to do but made out experience worth while and for this we will 100% return . The rooms are Clean and fresh I couldn’t fault this. There was complementary water and coffee in the room with amazing body wash and hand soap no cheap body wash. The rain fall shower was excellent and relaxing. I really couldn’t fault them with the cleanliness and standard of this room definitely what you pay is what you get.

There were 7 diners in our party and each one of us agreed that the food was delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. Chef has over 40 years experience and happily advised us on menu. Restaurant deserves a much higher rating. Atmosphere, service and food will not disappoint.
