Food was nice. Service was good until the end of the evening. The table was left uncleared & the waitress was on her phone. It was freezing. Had to eat wearing my coat.

We had an absolutely exceptional meal last night! Jordan had a Christmas dinner and I had chorizo pasta and a cocktail. It was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent, the prices were reasonable and the food was super tasty. We will definitely be back!

Always love coming here. Booked on the day (saturday) in the morning online, no fuss, in under 1 minute! Very impressive. Food is always delicious, and the staff are always super helpful. Atmosphere can be a bit boisterous depending on the time of year (hosts work and christmas parties as example, large family birthdays, etc). It's great if you are in one of these groups, but not if you are there for a quiet family meal as the language and 'enthusiasm' of some of the parties can often go unchecked. This, to me, is the only thing they could do better as I have been here very often and keep coming back

We just love Toms everything just fell into place, Dinner on a Friday evening, lovely starters, beautiful meal, staff were excellent and service very good.

I highly recommend this family-owned restaurant - delicious local fresh produce - plus a wonderful warm welcome and great service from the friendly owner and his diligent staff. I visited three times with my family during my two-week stay, it was that good. Well worth a visit!!

Had lunch here it was reasonably cheap and tasted good.

Booked a table for 9 and every single person was happy with the service price and food it was so lovely will be back as soon as possible thank you guys. The portion size was brilliant!

Food very good but was disappointed when receved the bill to find I was charged £2.00 for a small portion of mayo..so becarefull when ordering condiments ask if you will be charged ..I did mention to the staff who said they will mention to manager .but I will not be back if they continue to charge ..

There were five of us for dinner (including a vegetarian) and we all had different starters and mains. The food was delicious and portion sizes were all very generous, so much so there was definitely no room for desserts! Highly recommended .

Lovely food but let down by poor service. Although I think we just got unlucky with our particular waitress. Enjoyed both of the main courses were delicious.

Took an hour for our food to arrive, roast beef was tough as a boot could barely cut through it and roasties was 2/10, probably not come back.

I have found a new favourite place. The food was delicious. I cannot wait to come back here. Lovely service too everyone was so nice. Went yesterday and it was still the same, lovely people, yummy food and an all round pleasant experience. Definitely recommend coming here. On busy days I would suggest booking in advance. We visited here last night for a birthday dinner and really enjoyed it. The service was very good and so too was the food. Portion sizes were very generous and a good selection of drinks. Booking the table couldn't have been easier using the online booking system via the website. I would recommend this place and would visit again.

Great spot. Wee family evening. Food always top notch and most staff really friendly and helpful. One girl on Saturday night couldn't raise a smile and actually dumped my son's dinner and beer hard on the table but hey ho, who knows what's going on in her life. All in all a lovely lively wee restaurant indeed.

waited an hour and 15 minutes for food so you’d expect it would be nice. lasagna had been microwaved, freezing on the top and boiling in the middle. chips were also raw in the middle. saw the owner drinking a pint behind the bar aswell. pretty disappointing considering the place looks lovely inside

Service not great! Ordered sirloin steak and asked for mushrooms instead of tomatoes! It came with tomatoes! Chunky chips were totally undercooked! Asked for steak to be medium to well done! It came rare! Plus a tin of coke was £3.45! Will never be back!!!!!!!!

Absolutely fabulous 😍!!! Great service beautiful food breaded mushroom starter, soup and especially salmon was superb!and so was sticky toffee pudding and chocolate cake! Loved the decaff latte. Stuff was very professional and accomodating. Everything was fresh and high quality. Lovely ambience and atmosphere!!! Looking forward to having another beautiful meal here soon!!! Visited on Saturday and was really disappointed, not how it used to be. We ordered brie from the specials, it came out cold in the middle, completely uncooked. We sent it back and they prepared a fresh plate, only for it to be the exact same, stone cold in the centre. No starter had and thankfully removed from the bill. For main I had my only favourite of Chicken Tenby. The chicken was dry and overcooked and the garlic chips were bland, and slightly under. The rest of the meals were reportedly nice. I used to really love it here and thought it would be a safe and tasty option to take our visiting friend, but couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. Not sure I will be returning any time soon!

Nostalgic American culture and movie art and classic American dishes with Irish flair. You can get a real steak here. Burgers are uniquely adorned. Classic British chips. Somewhat awkward green vegetable medly but it was still great. Peroni on tap was perfectly temperatured.

Awesome restaurant. Irish coffee is a must try. We tried baked salmon and sweet chilli chicken and rice, with fried chicken for my kid. The food was mind-blowing. Highly recommended.

We didn't have a reservation, but they still seated us on a Friday evening. The food was good- gluten free options were excellent and all clearly marked in the menu- but the real stars were the staff. They were incredibly kind, accommodating, and friendly. Service deserves more than 5 stars. We will definitely go back!

Outstanding dinner at Tom's last night with the wife. Brie with chilli marmalade followed by chicken Tenby and a cheeky cheesecake. Beautiful meal and great friendly & attentive service throughout. If only it was BYO and it would get 5 stars as £20 odd for a bottle of average wine is a tough call and probably a big turn off for folk these days when so many restaurants in Bangor let you bring your own.

Had lunch there about 2 weeks ago, nice food with lots of vegetarian choices, fabulous service. The manager Andrew was very helpful when we booked the table, service staff are very attentive 👍🏻

This is not a "Fancy Cuisine" restaurant. It is somewhere that cooks nice food that you recognise, and does a good job of it. We don't eat out too often, but we have been here a couple of times, and will be back. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere and decor is inviting. The prices are fair for the style of the restaurant. For families and couples who want to treat themselves to a nice meal out. Not the price of a carry out, but not 'Fine Cuisine' prices either. Every meal we have ordered here has been enjoyed by all in our family group.

We Have been Staying at Bangor over the Years and we only found out about Toms, the food was brillant and we enjoyed our meal.

We had a great meal yesterday afternoon with friends. The food was superb and the service and atmosphere was spot on. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and happy to recommend menu choices which were beautiful. We will definitely be back. Well done team Tom

Unfortunately wouldn't be back. I had chorizo chicken and was met with a tiny half fillet breast in really overpowering sauce. My friend really enjoyed the vegetable curry. Staff were rude, made us feel uncomfortable, sniggered at our table. There was a really lovely young girl who met us when we first went in, really lovely girl. A credit to the restaurant.

Waited 35 minutes for lunch when it wasn't busy. Restaurant was cold and didn't warm up. Shame as food is great. Good reputation in Bangor

We were a party of four adults and a toddler with one of our a party gluten intolerant . We were warmly welcomed , the restaurant well decorated and the menu was clearly laid out for gluten free items . Our waitress was friendly and efficient and the food was well presented and very tasty . The prices were reasonable . We will definitely be back .

I was in last night for a birthday dinner and a good time wasjad by all. The food was well cooked and the menu had alot of options for people with special requirements. The staff were friendly but not in your face.

Just visited with me and my partner , we walked through the doors and seated right away and sat down offered our drinks, then we had a lovely starter and a main , the steak was without a doubt the best I have had and I have tried many places!! " outstanding " the service from the waiters also fantastic, friendly, and very welcoming. This has been our 2nd time going and will sure be back again! Thanks again and the chef who cooked our steak needs a gold medal.

Great meal today at Toms . I had taken my wife and my two sisters for a Xmas lunch and couldn’t have been happier. Lovely food, piping hot and very reasonably priced . Ken our waiter made the day. What a lovely guy, super personality and entertained us from start to finish. Will def be back!!

Food was lovely, I only had a light salad but my friend had a vegan burger and chunky chips, she said it was lovely... if you like a strong black coffee then maybe I wouldn't recommend that as it was quite weak but that does not fault the restaurant in anyway.

Really lovely restaurant with a good variety of food options with excelle t portions (which is a shame only because we were too full to try some of the desserts!) The service was really above and beyond. we were a big party including 2 preschoolers and 2 babies under 6 months- attention and care was given to everyone in our party despite it being a busy Saturday night. we will definitely be back!
