The best restaurants in Murlough Down South Eastern NI

Came after recommendation and wasn’t let down! Food is excellent and service top class have taken friends there and very impressed .Will call again before going back to England and will call again next time over .Which we do regularly .Thank you made are special day lovely.Got in engaged today ! So called in for a special meal .

Fantastic family meal. Staff very friendly, attentive and great with the children. The food exceeded all expectations, absolutely delicious and very good value. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

Saw the menus on their website & saw the pictures that they had posted & thought that this restaurant looked like the kind of place we would enjoy. What a disappointment! The menu was not what they advertised on their website, when we questioned the waiter about the menu he said that they hadn’t used that one for about 2 months. The presentation of our meals was most definitely not similar to the pictures on the website, the leeks must’ve flown over the leek & potato soup, would not recommend & we were very sorry we had taken our friends there & would most definitely not be back!!

Beautiful hotel i have stayed there a few times good food great room, i think they only have music on a few nights a week, friday in the bar good but just like any bar. Sunday night great was not my kind of music until i heard this guy Finbar, love it, going back just for this, on Sunday and ill buy his cd again because i love it. And he plays in the lounge perfect, cant wait, you have to try it 🍸🍀

Nice food, cozy place. Totally recommended if you are in Newcastle or visiting Tollymore Forest Park. The burger tastes great after a long mountain walk.

Called my order in at 8:45pm and the girls working were just finishing my order at 8:58 when I walked in to collect my burger. As I was leaving at one minute past the 9pm closing time a fella stuck his head in the door and asked if he could get served and all immediately replied "yes, what would you like?". Very rarely do you find this level of customer service anywhere in the world these days.....I bow my head and salute you all. Respect.(Burger, chips and onion rings were all first class. Bravo!!!)

Great food freshly made chicken fillets which are actual fillets not some processed meat, chips which are crispy but not burned, really recommend as I'm really picky on food with my kids

if I could do minus I would, absolutely rude owner... what do you want.....is not the way to speak to customers.... the coffee was awful.. Avoid avoid avoid
