The best restaurants in England

Me and my Wife out for afternoon in hot sunshine looking for something sweet, when we spotted this place. The cakes, biscuits and patisseries caught our eyes like jewels. We were not far wrong, as the Biscoff cheese cake and apple frangipagne (sorry about spelling) were better than anything we had in London this week! We brought them home and had them with coffee. Shame we live in Prestwich!!

Just tried the lunchtime wraps from here for the first time - 1 chicken & 1 meatballs - the food was so delicious & fresh and portion size was very generous. Staff are very friendly and eager to please. Premises are immaculate. For £5 for such excellent quality, I can’t understand why anyone would use a fast food place. Will definitely be back and work through the menu. Thanks.

Lunch was superb but only had capacity for starter and main course. But we booked five more tables for later in the year to include 2 for starters and puds meals. Oh and we had a cider to accompany our lunch since we used the buses so couldn't have to drive.

I'm a fan of really good coffee. Wasn't disappointed Frasers Coffe served as a flat white perfect. New York deli sandwich as well amazing. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable they knew whose coffee they were serving and that it was local too. Soo good I've returned twice

Cute little care with a children’s play area. My husband just popped in to get us coffees and came out with a raspberry vegan croissant & Bakewell tart. Both the treats and coffee were lovely. Staff were nice and friendly.

The dolcevita is the best ice cream I've ever had and hard to beat their great selection of sorbet is tough to beat as well.

Helado excepcional. El pistacho fue sensacional. No es barato, pero usted obtiene lo que paga. Personal agradable, ubicación conveniente .

Chris made my wedding cake! It wasn’t something he had done before technique wise but he mastered it! It made my dreams come true. Tasted amazing and the price was incredible. A++++++

It has become a family tradition now to buy a traybake box for thr kids birthdays. The shop is very welcoming and it is so easy to order. There is a great variety of cupcakes, brownies and other traybakes. We love it! They also have a new website which is great if you cant get to the shop in Exeter

Fuimos por una noche de pintura y servimos y tuvimos una explosión absoluta G el anfitrión era increíble y muy atento a las necesidades de todos ella era divertido y claramente le encantó lo que hizo! Nos recibieron con una sonrisa y eso nunca la dejó en toda la noche. La comida era increíble y todo cocinado por la propia G ella estaba en el camino toda la noche y había otras 2 fiestas en también 🥰 sin duda volveremos a reservar gracias G fue una gran noche 👍

Lots of coffee shops to choose from in Reading; but on this week's stay in the town I've found myself taking my early coffee and snack here. It isn't as busy first thing as some of the others. (If you go into Caffe Nero opposite, for example, you might well get stuck in a long queue.) And I think this shop has one of the best ambiences, with theatrical lighting and chunky furniture. Sometimes they even have a cool jazz playlist on air. I often like a morning cake or pastry. And I've noticed the ones at Black Sheep are some of the best in the main chains. Always fresh and tasty. Not everything's perfect though. For me, they serve an Americano at a slightly lower temperature than their rivals. This has led me to only take my coffee here black. That said, it's good coffee.

Very intimate restaurant in Bromsgrove.we enjoyed the 10 course Izakaya Otsumami menu expertly prepared by Mike and served by Antonia. Whole range of flavours and textures that we enjoyed. Highly recommend but known as Canary and Kitchen.
