Barnett's Loughborough in Charnwood

Chris made my wedding cake! It wasn’t something he had done before technique wise but he mastered it! It made my dreams come true. Tasted amazing and the price was incredible. A++++++

I was among eight ladies who went for afternoon tea at Barnetts as a special treat. The owner had set out a long table for us with vases of beautiful tulips. We had three triple tiered displays with plates of sandwiches and mini quiches, cakes of every variety and scones with jam and clotted cream. We were also given trays of divine cheesecake. We could have as much tea/coffee as we liked and given the fact that we simply could not manage to eat all of the huge quantity of food, we were provided with foil trays to take some home. The quality of every single item was excellent. It was extremely good value for money. The owner is friendly and very obliging. And dogs are welcome too!

So far I have tried their coffee, cake and breakfast. Better coffee than Nero; Best cake and breakfast in Loughborough and beyond. Yes, it's really that good !

Barnett's is one of Loughborough's best kept secrets. Great coffee, breakfasts, sandwiches, snacks, and cakes home made by the owner Chris Barnett. Great atmosphere too.
