I can't tell you how authentic it is, but it's utterly delicious. I came with a couple of other people and between us we shared 3 mains and 2 starters, and everything was amazing - gimbap, fried chicken, tteokbokki. I highly recommend it if you've never tried South Korean food before, and I really appreciated the non-spicy options

We had the mixed meat and veg platter between 2 of us and couldn’t finish it though believe me we tried. Absolutely delicious food from savoury to spicy. I’d love to know how they made a couple of dishes so I could cook them at home.

This place is great. Never heard if fasoola before. Loved them. Enjoyed the breakfast. Tasty and perhaps healthier than an English breakfast with pork sausage and bacon. Good food great coffee. Fine service.

Harritt’s is a superb wine bar nestled away on Eccy Road. The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. It was so good we visited twice in one week. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a range of wines to choose from

The House of Joro has a 4 room mini hotel, with a restaurant about a 10 minute walk away - although this is due to change soon. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a shared seating and dining area between the four rooms. This encourages socialising with other guests, which I really liked. Breakfast had a Scandinavian feel, with. Lovely young chef providing drinks and the cold breakfast of yogurt with granola, breads, salmon etc… At the restaurant we opted for the premium tasting menu with the matching drinks. The restaurant at present is in a shipping container. This did make it a little noisy, we did struggle to hear our waiters at times. It was great to be able to see the chefs at work and the food was excellent. I really liked the concept behind the tasting menu, which had a sense of Scandinavian meets Asia. I loved the seaweed ice cream sandwich. There is clearly a lot of thought going into the menu creation which made the meal fascinating as well as tasty. The young staff were all very helpful and their enthusiasm for the food really came across well.

First time at this little gem. Brunch date with my husband on a Friday morning. Did not disappoint! The food was amazing, the waitress was professional and friendly, the atmosthere was nice and cosy. Will definitely be back again There is only one thing to add: it's inside the Flannels shop, so it's a bit tricky to find if you don't know about it before going there, as there are no signs in Meadowhall.

Don't let the look of this shop deceive you! We walked past and didn't think they were serving because the window doesn't have any food in it, but when we went in we were greeted by a lovely old man and they were able to make up fresh sandwiches for us. Great quality got the price and the rolls we got were very fresh, would recommend!
