The best restaurants in West Ecclesfield Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

Lovely little pub. Food was good large portions. Atmosphere cosy and friendly. Only have one issue dogs not allowed inside. We live local and would call in more frequently if dogs were allowed in one side . I get it not all people like dogs but I don't like sitting out side eating food with people smoking. So would like the choice of bringing dogs inside. But saying this its a lovely friendly pub staff friendly food really nice too. And we will call again soon.

The worst Indian food I’ve ever had served to me. No less than disgusting - the whole lot went straight in the bin. This is not Indian food at all - it was a disgusting tub of mess full of past best food and below par cookery. Via Deliveroo, I ordered a Bhindi Biriyani together with Samosas and a puri with Chickpeas. What I actually got was nothing like what I was expecting and plainly did not meet the description. Anyone who thinks that the food from this establishment is nice, I guarantee is from a white Caucasian background and has very poor living standards in terms of food quality they consume and choice. I would not feed the sh it served to me to a homeless and starving dog. My only recommendation to you is to avoid this establishment at all costs.

Myself and my family have attempted to enjoy a drink here multiple times and have felt unwelcome on the majority of these occasions, mostly by the woman who runs the pub and a few of the regular visitors. We have been as a couple when everything has been fine and a few times with our dog has been ok however whenever we visit with our son we have been on edge - he gets told by this staff member what he can and can’t do, she expects him to be sat quietly in a corner, she scowls at him and is generally rude towards us. The pub has games scattered around which are attractive to children yet when they play and make a little noise or mess they are frowned upon. As a pub set in a very family oriented community and close to woodland walks and parks it is to be expected that children will visit with their family, therefore I am disappointed that the staff don’t accommodate for this. The only reason for our continued return is due to the good variety of drink options for adults

Ordered for years from here but tonight food was poor more boiled egg than chicken in my CHICKEN tikka also had delivery but if I didn't have a ring doorbell would have been freezing as the driver just put It on my doorstep and walked away lost my custom tonight 😞

Visited here last weekend, it was outside tables and we had pre booked a booth . The cocktails were not great, service was extremely slow and the staff did not seem to understand what they were doing. One in particular had a very bad attitude. Cocktails are 2 for £10 which would be good value if they were nice, you can also mix and match. It was such a shame because this could be a lovely place, just what Cannock needs. Won’t be rushing back to try it again.
