The best restaurants in Rother Vale Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

I visit Thurcroft every week and make a point of calling at Mrs Brown’s Tea Room. Not only is a friendly welcome guaranteed but tea served in a china cup and saucer to boot! Let’s face it- THAT is how tea should be served. The food is freshly prepared to order and although I have not tried one, the afternoon tea looks amazing. While you are there you can also have a look around two shops full of vintage ‘finds’ - I rarely leave without a small purchase to brighten up my day, a word of advice though- if you see something you like buy it as it will be gone the next time you call! This is clearly a family concern that is run with love and care and well worth a visit.

Had the £22 for 2 deal, which included 2 starters, 2 curries, 2 poppadoms, a rice and naan bread, and the amount of food it was the best food I have had in a lot time really good for the money

Family run business, managed extremely efficiently, staff and premises always clean and tidy, fast friendly service, always pleasant to visit wether for just a wonderful coffee or a fantastic lunch, food is always freshly cooked and presented well

Food is always lovely, we have never had a bad takeaway from here. Staff and owners are friendly and efficient, food is always piping hot and portion sizes are good. Only place I will go to for a Chinese takeaway. Highly recommend.

Ordered pizza, doner kebab and cheeses chips! So yummy! Delivery was on time and really helpful. Will definitely order again.

Was here for a long stay and ate here most nights, Good potions, chef would make different things on menu when needed as I am gluten free, A few nights it was closed but enough near by, Thankyou will return soon

Ordered first time last night never again .food came on time delivery driver was polite .pakora was nice naan was nice.came to the curry ,was eating it and felt something odd in the sauce with my tongue was a silver strand of what looked like a piece of silver scourer in my curry .so left rest and reported it to just eat as it is a choking hazard and I will never order again .I get accidents can happen in food prep but honestly put me off for life

Family run business who make delicous Chinese food. Always fresh, never greasy or oily. My favorite by a mile. You won't be disappointed

Was not at all disappointed by our first visit to Goa, in fact we were more than impressed. The warm welcome when we arrived was a lovely touch. We were asked to wait for a few minutes to be seated but the staff were keen to check we were ok. I must say I would have preferred to sit in the main dining area as where we were seated was full and noisy with large parties of people but once we were settled it was fine. The food was absolutely delicious, it arrived steaming hot. My husband ordered the chicken madras while I had the Goa chicken tikka masala dish, it was probably one of the best curries I have tasted and the ingredients were so fresh. Again, the staff were very attentive and friendly. As it was our first time there we did have a conversation with the man who took our bill and congratulated him on what had been a really great experience. Thank you to everyone and long may this restaurant last 5 star service with 5 star staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pedí una comida para llevar pregunté cuánto tiempo dijo que una hora era 1 hora 50 minutos tuvimos que llamar dos veces y nos dijeron en camino cuando no era, creo que deben tener un nuevo chef como absolutamente basura ahora, las alitas de pollo eran sangre cruda en las articulaciones y sin cocer no se atreven a comerlos en absoluto, habíamos pedido 2 curry diferentes, pero se veían y sabían exactamente lo mismo, incluso las patatas fritas no se cocinaron, nunca pediremos de nuevo hasta que algo drástico cambia, esto solía ser comida encantadora cada vez que no estoy seguro de lo que ha pasado, pero los cambios son necesarios
