The best restaurants in Rother Vale Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

I visit Thurcroft every week and make a point of calling at Mrs Brown’s Tea Room. Not only is a friendly welcome guaranteed but tea served in a china cup and saucer to boot! Let’s face it- THAT is how tea should be served. The food is freshly prepared to order and although I have not tried one, the afternoon tea looks amazing. While you are there you can also have a look around two shops full of vintage ‘finds’ - I rarely leave without a small purchase to brighten up my day, a word of advice though- if you see something you like buy it as it will be gone the next time you call! This is clearly a family concern that is run with love and care and well worth a visit.

Family run business, managed extremely efficiently, staff and premises always clean and tidy, fast friendly service, always pleasant to visit wether for just a wonderful coffee or a fantastic lunch, food is always freshly cooked and presented well

Food is always lovely, we have never had a bad takeaway from here. Staff and owners are friendly and efficient, food is always piping hot and portion sizes are good. Only place I will go to for a Chinese takeaway. Highly recommend.

Ordered pizza, doner kebab and cheeses chips! So yummy! Delivery was on time and really helpful. Will definitely order again.

Was here for a long stay and ate here most nights, Good potions, chef would make different things on menu when needed as I am gluten free, A few nights it was closed but enough near by, Thankyou will return soon

Really good service. Lovely food. Had to order a bhuna with no onions due to allergy and they were very accommodating and the food was lovely.

After standing outside in the cold, I spent over £30 on food without salt and vinegar even through I asked for it. Chips that was still hard. Tasteless and couldn't eat them. Don't be returning. Fish batter is not fluffy at all.

Our family of four have just ate the best food we've had in a long time. All ended up gone. Including my daughter who struggles to try new foods but loved it! Thank you

Pedí una comida para llevar pregunté cuánto tiempo dijo que una hora era 1 hora 50 minutos tuvimos que llamar dos veces y nos dijeron en camino cuando no era, creo que deben tener un nuevo chef como absolutamente basura ahora, las alitas de pollo eran sangre cruda en las articulaciones y sin cocer no se atreven a comerlos en absoluto, habíamos pedido 2 curry diferentes, pero se veían y sabían exactamente lo mismo, incluso las patatas fritas no se cocinaron, nunca pediremos de nuevo hasta que algo drástico cambia, esto solía ser comida encantadora cada vez que no estoy seguro de lo que ha pasado, pero los cambios son necesarios
