The best restaurants in Sutton Kingston upon Hull, City of Yorkshire and The Humber

Been hear plenty of times for food as it's freshly cooked to order.

Very disappointed, went in & placed order the phone was going constantly & heard person taking orders stating 15/20 mins wait we waited 25 mins & told was been sorted yet people comin in for phone orders in & out! After 40.mins a joke for beef curry & rice x2 with spring rolls told would be out shortly, friend came in who had phoned 20 mins earlier for bigger order which was handed over straight away! Use this take away every week but not now! Other people in there asking for refunds not impressed either! Very disappointed

Boxing Day get together ….we booked our family get together for their 3 course Boxing Day menu ,,,we all had pizzas and burgers after having Christmas dinner at home we wanted something different …our starters were served quickly …we had to wait about 10min for our mains but worth the wait as all agreed were delicious …we found staff very busy felt a little under staffed as all rushing around ..their bar was very busy yet the atmosphere was great …the staff were excellent and the food was lovely …..enjoyable day

Great atmosphere, great beer, well worth visiting.

I went to Sutton fish & chip shop on the evening of the 04/01/2023 and ordered patty peas, chips. I asked them if the chips were hot, they replied yes, when I received them they was warm. To my annoyance the owner quoted that the reason they was warm was because I took longer in applying salt and vinegar to my meal. I asked for a fresh batch of chips to be put in, he then refused to serve me and handing me my money back, embarrassing me in the process. I then drove to Sue downs fish & chip shop which is just around the corner where I received great service and receiving an enjoyable red hot meal in which was all I wanted in the first place.
