Called here for some breakfast, really friendly and nice place to stop, I loved the decorations & style. The food was excellent, I will definitely will come back Best Cafe in Mexborough

Just been for coffee with my sister and had the best catch up but relaxing drink in a relaxing atmosphere, lovely place. The staff was lovely and it is full on olden days memorabilia with olden days music playing nicely in background.

Han sido un par de veces para el desayuno. Debo decir que por el precio de 2 a 2 huevos con tostadas frijoles 2 bacon tomate y taza de té 3 libras. 50. Recién cocinado y caliente. Vale la pena visitarlo.

I took my son a couple of weeks ago to sit in and eat…. WOW 🤩… what amazing food and lovely friendly people…. My son had a hot soup and I had chicken masaman with coconut rice… it was so good I ordered my wife one to take away! We have ordered takeout this evening and tried a couple of other dishes… each one piping hot and so flavourful… the chicken Panang and the green Thai…. Pinang could be my new favourite dish!! This place is a local treasure… I just wish I had found it sooner! Thank you for amazing food… we have already organised a visit next month and will be having a banquet!

Fab staff really friendly and helpful when needed to use the computer. Its a very clean cafe (prob one of the cleanist I been in) food was really nice and a lovely hot cup of tea.

Best fish and chips I’ve ever had fresh chunky chips and thick chunky cod. Delicious is the word. Very friendly staff and would be the only fish and chips I would recommend in the area

Went to the see the queen copy band show last the empress . It was as usual very organised. The staff are all extremely nice and very helpful The show was fabulous and so was the d j plying good music between and after the show . I would highly recommend anyone to visit this fantastic venue . The ticket prices are so reasonable and they include a meal if you want . That is great too I love going there and looking forward to the next visit .

We went on Friday before a gig at the Gorilla beer hall just across the road. Nice atmosphere great food and good service. We had mango chilli fish and makai chicken to start. My favourite was the fish but both starters were really good. For mains we had curried honey mustard chicken and the mexborough lamb special rhubarb with coconut rice and a garlic naan. Delicious. Whoever thought of putting rhubarb in a curry? It just works. Really different dishes but they complimented each other. If we come to another gig at the gorilla brewery we will deffo be back to goa spice.

Review 2/9/2022 Now it's a beer hall (with live music). Lovely atmosphere. Great looking place. Friendly service. 4 of their own beers on tap at 3.50 a pint. There are guest taps from Brewdog and other breweries Previous review. Went here for the 1st time today and I will definitely come back. Very friendly helpful service. Tasty beers and a great view of the canal. Wouldn't mind free wifi though. You can pay contactless or cash. They have 5 of their own beers on 1 tap and on bottle. They will direct you to a (hopefully) free table or bench. The service was quick and efficient. I paid 1.50 for a half pint of IPA

Recommended this chippy to my friends as I had bought fish there Monday 6th sept which was amazing . W ell cooked and golden crispy batter. On the Saturday 11th the chips had obviously been reheated and the fish was slimy and batter not cooked. Like we had been to a different chippy. Won’t be recommending and won’t go again

Really good place, nice food and there iced coffee's are amazing, very accommodating for children. Will definitely be returning.

good food well presented, cheesecake to die for with the smell of freshly baked bread in the background...bliss oh and served by a very pleasant young lady
