Had many meals here very good service never had a bad curry

I think you would find it very difficult to find a better place than this for a curry, exceptional service. Food perfect, and good value for money..... I read all the reviews before my first visit, and they were favourable, now I think the ones that were not are false reviews.

Read several reviews for this restaurant, and we weren't disappointed. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, and the food was excellent. We dropped lucky with it being a Wednesday, and the 4 course banquet was on for £14.50 a head. So not only very good, but exceptional value as well.

Had our 1st visit tonight, the food was excellent. A family run business, good service and Indian cuisine with some excellent flavour. Will definable return.

Best Indian food outside of India. Service is second to none. Even got a free pint while I was waiting. Highly recommend A+++++++

First of all we were greeted by young lads that clearly couldn’t care less, both with hair in their faces and they could barely manage a smile. Music kept going really loud then quieter then loud again. I looked up the menu online before going and the menu given to me didn’t have the price on for my curry, only to find out it was £1.50 more expensive? Which they said is because online orders get 10% off which still didn’t equal the price advertised online. No napkins yet curry served in an extremely hot dish with no way to get it onto the plate as the handles were impossible to touch. Tried to take our pickle tray away when we weren’t finished. No one explained how to pay and we need to go to the bar so we’re sat waiting to pay for 15 mins. Bill came without even asking how we wanted to pay. (Party of 3 wanted to split so had to add up at the table) Communication needed. Guy at the bar was nice!

From No9 Cawood. This is by far the best place for authentic cuisine. The staff are always very helpful. The food is always 10/10 and rapid delivery. Do not miss out on having food from here as you will regret it. I recommend their signature dish’s as I always struggle to narrow them down.

I booked a table for 11 people and called them back twice more to extend it to 14 and there was no problem. The food was amazing and everyone said so. Service fantastic by the lads and even helped us with taxis after the meal. Me and my friends couldnt recommend it highly enough. Great restaurant, great staff 👌👌👌

Great food, well priced, with friendly staff. This is my go to Indian restaurant, even though we have an Indian where we live and Goa Spice is 12 miles away, it's worth the travel.

Friendly staff, good menu and excellent food. Some unusual dishes; I have not had rhubarb in a curry dish previously but will certainly order again. Recommended and I will definitely visit again when passing.

The service was great, even offered to cover one person's bill when they went home ill (they'd been out drinking all day). The food is was let its down. Greasy. No flavour and the meat was a little dry. I think I'll give it another go because everyone I have spoken to has said its usually amazing.

Had take away for the first time from Goa Spice, king prawn tikka masala, mushroom rice and sundries ABSOLUTELY BEAUT!! Will definitely order again and will definitely try dine in.Highly recommended,excellent tasty food, lovely smart,well mannered delivery guy,well worth the money.

Recommended by my cousin who had Christmas day here with the family. My first visit with the hubby last night and absolutely beautiful. Food fresh and hot and soooo tasty. Nice guys there, food disappointing taste-wise. The main dish looked perfect on the menu but lacked much flavour when it came. The smallest bit of coriander was sprinckled on top. Good prices. Quick service.

We have been ordering from here for a while now and these guys never fail...very polite staff and the best customer service. Delivery is always on time and food is piping hot. We sometimes take advantage of the 10% discount for collection too..again, super friendly staff that always go the extra mile. First time I've tried Goa Spice, curry was tasty unfortunately not overly warm (takeaway) and the pilau rice was very dry. However I will certainly be trying a sit down meal in the future.

When I first moved up here, I tried local takeaway's and couldn't find a decent curry house. Tonight I tried Goa Spice for the first time. Making the order was easy, the guy I spoke to was friendly, unrushed and clear. The food was fantastic. It was clean, not too oily and still hot so I didn't have to warm it up. Good flavour and good portions. Thank you I recommend

Me and my family visited goa spice for first time boxing day staff were very friendly good service excellent restaurant and the curry's were very nice and reasonable priced I would defo reccomend to anyone living or visiting mexbrough to go try it

We are regulars at goas spice and tonight we went there for my wife's birthday as a table of 27. As usual sham, shell and the boys looked after us brilliantly and although there were so many of us the service was fantastic and the food as always was perfect. Simply the best Indian food in Mexborough by an absolute mile ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a great Indian restaurant, the menu is amazing, the waiting staff are so friendly, special mention to Henry who is a lovely lad. The food was amazing, had the naga lamb and my wife had the garlic chilli chicken, the food was fantastic excellent portion sizes and very tasty, also ice cold Cobra to wash it down with, try it you won't be disappointed.

First time visit and was Lovely food, friendly and welcoming staff. Had an amazing time and even did chicken nuggets and chips for the kids. Will definitely recommend and will be back again 👍

Fabulous service, delicious food and well priced. Definitely worth a trip, a bit more expensive but they always use fresh ingredients, quality meat and spices which result in a taste and experience unique to the restaurant.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Usually have takeaway, but decided to call in first time as friends birthday. Cobra on draught. Food expertly prepared. A wide range of flavours and heat levels to choose from. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout. I personally had the Mumbai chicken, with pilau rice and cheese/garlic naan - just about finished it 👍 Everyone else raved about their own food and how great it was Owner/manager (sorry forgot to ask name) gave us each an Irish creme shot on the way out 😁 Will easily be dining in more often. Been here a few times for take away, first time dining in tonight. We were greeted upon arrival by a very lovely chap and taken to our table. The food and service was impeccable, everyone goes above and beyond to make your experience great, even got a free shot and after eight after the meal! Can’t wait to go back!

I visited Goa Spice in Mexborough to celebrate my friends upcoming birthday. I was so impressed as soon as I entered. The welcoming was warm and friendly, the restaurant was immaculate and super clean. It was already busy (always a good sign) and the aromas in the air smelt divine. We were seated and presented with our menus. There was so much choice but I opted for the Chicken Manchurian with Mushroom Rice and a Garlic Naan. The food was amazing, lovely and hot (as in heat not spice heat) and I've never tasted anything like it. It was delicious and looked amazing. We did have poppadoms and pickles first so we didn't manage to have a dessert but you won't be disappointed here. Will definitely go again when up North visiting friends. I give it 5 stars and thank you to the lovely staff who couldn't be more helpful and friendly.

Goa spice in mexborough. I've left a review on trip advisor too. This restaurant is exceptional. The food is probably the best Indian food we've ever had. But what makes goa spice stand above the rest is.... the staff. They were so polite and friendly, actually looked like they were pleased to see us . Amazing restaurant. Deserves to be everyone's go to restaurant if you love quality Indian food with exceptional service

We booked out the ballroom of the Empress Building for our corporate event and the guys at Goa Spice catered for it, serving over 60 meals. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, and I'd absolutely recommend the venue and the catering to others. Spot on.

Fantastic curry house Food amazing and different...more subtle and richer flavours than many. Food tasted traditional and more home made. Staff were very helpful..then we got the bill which was MUCH less than we were expecting!! Always a bonus We had 1 starter mushroom chani chat 2 poppadoms plus chutneys and lime pickle Bengali lamb with lime and coriander rice Goa chicken tikka marmalade with pewshari naan 1 gin and tonic and a top up tonic The bill £33...FANTASTIC!! the bill came with warm wipes 2 after eight mints and a shot of Baileys!!

First time here at Mexborough Goa Spice, pleasantly surprised. A really good menu, reasonably priced and excellent food. Add to that personable staff, who had the time to stop snd chat about the restaurant, food and general things. We will be back soon.
