Absolutely gorgeous food, service is great and staff are really polite, atmosphere is great too, would recommend very highly

Wow. Been here several times before to eat in and takeaway. As always the food was absolutely beautiful, but tonight (tried a new dish) was absolutely excellent. Everyone should visit here, the staff food and service are truly exceptional

No atmosphere, we started at 7pm and left at 9pm on saturday night, not one other customer in sight, the food was average in my opinion, waited quite a while between popadoms and pickle tray to main meal, the very worst bit though was, i went out with a female friend and her son, the waiter that brought the menu to our table, started to hand them out, looked at my female friend and winked at her, i never miss a trick, now to some, its no big deal, but he didnt know who she was, she could have been my wife or girlfriend, if she had of been, i would have walked straight out, i mentioned it today to her, she had not noticed, if she had, she could have felt very uncomfortable, what he did was very very inappropriate, ive had two businesses and would never dream of doing that, no amount of apologies will suffice under any circumstances, would never go there again !!!

Attended for a family meal, delicious food, good portions, welcoming staff, and will cater for allergies and taste requests. Staff made children feel welcome, we will be returning (Regularly hopefully).

Great food and service, good veggie selection too.

First visit last night with 10 friends, food was exceptional 👌 service was very good and extremely helpful and friendly despite being very busy. Would definitely recommend and I can't wait to visit again, thank you NUR and good luck with all your future endeavours.

Used the take away and restaurant. The food has always been tasty and excellent quality. I always have chicken and have never had any problems regards it being tough or hard to cut. Great portion sizes and always tasty. I go for dishes that are more authentic rather than korma etc. Brilliant

Went to Nur in Edlington tonight and it was absolutely fantastic!!Brilliant service with excellent staff!!The food was even better , and the Bill was alot lower than expected!!Will deffinately be going back !5 stars!

First visit with friends. Great staff and great food. Nothing too much trouble. We visited on a Sunday so it was special priced menu, excellent value and choice plus taking your own alcohol also made it a very affordable evening. Highly recommended 🙌😁

We visited for the first time tonight and was very impressed. The customer service was excellent and all staff were very friendly. All our food was faultless and very good value for money . We will definitely return in the future.

First time ordering, onion bhaji lovely, chicken karhi, chicken madras lovely tasting but the chicken was quite tough which did spoil it 😥

Just had a delivery,,mix grill lovely,,my wife had tikka massala it was so sweet she thought it was a dessert made with chicken,,think they slipped with sugar,not again, pickle tray is a no no..

Customer service very bad guy who served us needs to get further training in customer service very brash and rude. Service on 18/7 /22 was very slow I had my starter and almost finished my mains before my colleagues received their food. Lastly whilst they only take cash it’s strange how online payment goes to a third party who is an individual all sounds shady first and last visit. Chicken Briyani nothing special rice was dry accompanying vegetables saved the dish but had better I would give it 5 out of ten.

Great food, excellent service and friendly staff. They made us laugh and smile but was also patient and allowed us time and didn't rush us to order, eat and leave. Brilliant. Everyone enjoyed the food. We will definitely go again

Such an amazing Indian, we dined in for a change, the service was brilliant and the food was delicious as always, very clean and tidy restaurant, staff are so friendly and polite. We usually always have a weekly takeaway too, delivery is fast and food is always piping hot. Nur is by far, the best Indian around!

Four of us went last night (Friday). Food was excellent and staff were really friendly. To be honest I've only marked it as 4 stars because it's not licenced. However, we took our own beer/wine and it didn't detract from the experience. Food is 5 star for me.

Meal for Eight at 17.30 on a Sunday night - front of house team all very friendly - To the best of my knowledge we all had different "mains" and we all enjoyed them - so, really good service twinned with really good food - try The Nur, it's worth it! ...... Oh, it is "cash only" and bring your own alcohol but we knew that already!

Usually lovely food but tonight ordered a takeaway and was terrible. Don't know if you got a new chef but not upto standard tonight. My king prawn Korma was the worse I've ever tasted, had no taste whatsoever and was like water. Won't be ordering again.

Excellent, above and beyond service, absolutely delicious food! Very impressed! I tried on the off chance to call the restaurant before it had opened, to ask about ingredients in some of the dishes - a while later they had seen my missed call and rang me back (I'd not left any sort of message or asked for a call back). The gentleman who called me back was extremely helpful and understanding, he answered all my questions about ingredients and cooking methods (part of the order needed to be vegan), and the bits he wasn't 100% certain of he offered to check and call me back, which he did. The vegetable balti was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of veg, not just full of potato and onion as you can often find with veg curries. Saag aloo was incredibly tasty, generous onion salad portion on the pickle tray. Husband said that his rogan josh was top notch and had plenty of meat in it. The food was fresh, hot and not oily or greasy at all. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you!

Our favourite restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Great atmosphere and clean. We have been using them since their grand opening and have beer been disappointed. Would recommend to anyone.

I ordered a chicken tikka main course and the chicken was very hard to cut. The rice was like a uncle Ben's microwave one.
