I tried the chicken chennai dum biryani after a recommendation from my friend, it is a proper chennai biryani and really delicious. I can say it’s the best biryani I tried in UK, this is the 2nd time in a month I’m buying from them.

Ordered many times, one of the best south indian restaurant. Authentic chennai biriyani and Kothu parota. Must try malay chicken, awesome taste. Definetly recommended !!! :)

Had a set meal which included a poppadom, garlic nan a curry, pilau rice and a can of fanta. I opted for the chicken jalfrezi and added the cilantro chicken as a starter. The starter was delicious and the portion size was very good, this would be lovely in a wrap. The main was also very good with the included nan & poppadom I like peppers and enjoyed this jalfrezi. Overall this represented good value and the food is of high quality. It was nice to chat to the owners son who educated me on multi craft a mobile game that he appeared very adept at. Recommended

Ordered the korma, butter chicken and the lamb madras. So watery- with approx 4 pieces of chicken each. Absolutely gross. The naan bread was dry. Would never ever order from here again. Plus delivery was 30 minutes late.

The chicken burger was spot on, and the staff was friendly

Ordered Lamb Kurma, garlic Naan, paratha and chips. The kurma was no where near what a Kurma should be! It had very little creaminess and you could not taste the coconut, it was more of a zesty fruity taste than a creamy coconut! The garlic naan was literally 2mm thick no puffiness to it at all and the paratha was tiny! First time I've ordered here and it will be the last!

I went a lot and enjoyed the other dishes as well as the biryani very much. Visit this eatery if you're looking for authentic Chennai dum briyani. Excellently advised.

We ordered the food for collection after long time I ate very yummy parotta with salna in south indian style and bucketbriyani it's same like my native place I like the taste here only they sale parotta with salna without paying separately for curry I like it the salna it's very yummy I love it thank you for the chef who made it

This is a south indian takeaway that produces sublime wondeful food. I stopped outside hungry after a long car journey. The premises dont look great, but the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. I am unfamiliar with south indian food, but I asked for a recommendation and it was delicious. I travel all over the country for work, on expenses, and I am always willing to try something new and especially something local and not an international chain. I very much enjoyed the food here and will return over the next couple of weeks.

I've eaten twice from this little take away and during the first time I ate chicken biryani. Delightful family run Tamil style cuisine. While there during the first time, I asked the owner how they make their mutton biryani as my experience at other places was mediocre till now. She suggested I try theirs and decide. Still went ahead with Chicken biryani as I did not want to take a chance but last night I tried the mutton biryani during my second visit and I must say that true to her word, the biryani was authentic and delicious. A bucket for a family is sufficient. Perfectly spiced and cooked meat. Flavour was spot on. Try it and decide for yourself! Authentic Tamil style Biryani at its best!

Ordered Bucket Mutton Biryani, chilli chicken, chicken gravy. Taste was awesome. Got bread halwa, raita together. Quantity is good. Highly recommend

I ordered in rehamans last week and also i bought biryani from them mostly every week when i coming to doncaster especially that chicken biryani like Hyderabad dum biryani it’s very nice personally i suggests for indian food there very very reasonable price also. 👌👌👌

Our 1st time ordering We had the lrg mixed meat platter plenty of meat and tasted nice onion bhajis was nice too 😊 bit disappointed with the 7 pieces of meat in my lamb curry and the nan breads were very dry and hard 😞 good and bad point will maybe try again x

First and last time. Do you guys actually taste your food? Chicken tikka masala was like eating a plate full of salt. The butter chicken was bland and the chicken Madras was over salted. The garlic naan bread was like cardboard. Never again. On the plus side the chips were nice which isn't hard to get wrong.

Must Try. We order bucket chicken biryani and it was so delicious and homestyle touch. It comes with sweet halwa which was also really good.

Great place with awesome food. I ordered lunch for a party at my house and got them delivered. Everyone enjoyed the food. Biriyani and chicken were so tasty. Surprisingly, kids loved the Biriyani so much that they normally would not. I would recommend this place for anyone.

The Malaysian Food here is exceptionally good. It's fresh, light and different, from the usual UK stuff. Close your eyes while you eat and you fell like you are in Kuala Lumpur. Sadly.....open your eyes again.....and you're in Carcroft.

The BEST mutton biriyani in my recent times! Since I visited on a Saturday, Biriyani was delicious biriyani. Mutton quantity was more than enough and juicy. Flavor and quality is top notch as always 5 star for the service and the quantity and quantity of briyani is more than I expected. And the taste is similar to Polular Chennai Briyani Stall.I have tried Porata and chains, chili chicken and Egg Vechu Porata and it's so good and soft. Will order again...

Great Authentic Taste and Sumptuous Portion in a Tub. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try the Home cooked Briyani style compared to the oily and spicy commercial Briyani.

The bucket mutton biriyani is awesome. Tried twice and the taste is of authentic south Indian Biriyani. The Biriyani comes with a tasty salan, raitha and a small portion of bread halwa. You will have to order the Bucket Biriyani in advance at least a day before. Very friendly service. Definitely recommended.

We got chicken bhuna chicken korma rice chips nan bread the bhuna was nice and rice and chips however the korma taste nothing like korma no coconut taste at all which was a big disappointment

Absolutely delicious, always listen to certain requests, delivery on time if not quicker, food piping hot and the best chicken jalfrezi with huge amounts of fresh chicken breast chuncks. Won't have a curry from anywhere else now.

Nice taste and feels like South Indian food

Never usually leave reviews but disgusted. Took order. Waited nearly 2 hours for delivery to then be told driver would be there in 5 mins. Then decided to stop answering the phone so we had no clue what was happening. After he finally decided to turn up (assuming it’s the owner his wife and child) we refused the food as it had taken that long. Evidently he wasn’t happy about this & just didn’t care how long we’d been waiting. His defence was that it was nearly closing time and that he’d come from Skellow (which is less than 10 mins up the road). Why take the order? And why was it now our fault? He then threatened with the line, “Allah will sort you out” which I find absolutely absurd. Appalling customer service, definitely don’t recommend!!!!

1st time....and the food was banging...authentic south indian....owned by a sweet couple , always smiling and caring. For sure a must for those who like home made food with an extra taste!

Recently I tasted Biriyani and fried rice from this restaurant. It is superb especially the taste which I felt the same South Indian style. The menu card shows lot of cuisines which I can’t see any restaurants in Sheffield. Really an authentic South Indian restaurant.

My first time trying authentic South Indian and Malaysian cuisine and I cannot get enough! Ordered twice already (they opened 3 days ago) and both times food has still been hot when delivered, full of distinct flavours and incredibly tasty! The owners are lovely and super friendly, they even included a sample dish for us to try (potato masala) and it was TO DIE FOR. That's the next thing I'm ordering 😄 Cannot recommend Rahmans enough, my new favourite Indian restaurant. You will not be disappointed eating from here 😊

As far as I'm aware, The Rahmans is the first South Indian and Malaysian restaurant and takeaway this side of Doncaster, and if you've never had South Indian and Malaysian cuisine, it's well worth a try. The Rahmans serve traditional South Indian and Malaysian dishes such as Dosas, Oothapams, Nasi Goreng and Lamb Murtabak, that you'd normally travel as far as Leeds or Bradford to try. The Lamb Biryani - which I'm told is The Rahmans speciality, along with the accompanying gravy, Raita and Bread Halwa (sweet) are all delicious, as is the Fish Fry starter (it has bones, but don't let that put you off). The owners are friendly and welcoming and I'd definitely recommend dining in if you've never tried South Indian and Malaysian cuisine before - they're more than happy to talk about the dishes on the menu and give you some pointers. I had the pleasure of being the first dine-in customer and I'll definitely be back soon. Great to have some restaurant/takeaway diversity in Skellow and Carcroft. Keep an eye out for the festive menu and check out the website for catering options for 10+ people.
