The cafe was a pleasant surprise, with its cozy atmosphere and delicious food. The food was hot, fresh, and served with friendly staff. However, I didn’t feel comfortable being touched, which is a concern for me due to anxiety. I’m sure this might be a similar experience for individuals with autism. On the downside, the tin tomato wasn’t my cup of tea. I suggest they consider changing their recipes or adding salt and red sauce mix with a splash of BBQ sauce to enhance the flavor. Alternatively, they could switch to a different brand, as the rest of the breakfast was spot on. The bacon was nice, and it wasn’t overly fatty or cheap. However, the sausages was to die for i highly recommend them , as They was high quality and delicious but for the price, I expected a bit more, as it was pricey defo for just one item of each . Overall, I’d recommend trying this cafe. It’s not bad, but it could definitely improve in places. The cafe has a vintage charm, which is cool. However, the music in the background is a bit outdated and not my personal taste. I understand that it’s meant to match the theme, but I didn’t enjoy it. One thing I did find a bit frustrating was that I had to ask twice for butter before it was brought out to me, as you went and did something else instead that i thought was a little rude But i give 4.5 star

A traditional old English restaurant... The English Breakfast is awesome , the stuff are so friendly and make you feel at home... Value for money.. I will definitely visit again...

If you want a place that has a good ambiance, a lovely period feel and the best fresh home-type cooked food - you want to visit this cafe. Lovely owners - very welcoming, the pictures don't do justice to the feel of the place and the food is amazing. They also sell jams, chutneys, and preserves that taste amazing. Don't take my word for it, go visit and try the food. You won't be disappointed. Recommend!

Ordered a takeaway Breakfast and a BLT with a small portion of chips. We'll what can I say. The food was fresh cooked to order and tasted amazing. This cafe and tea rooms is a must. The decor of the cafe is made to feel like you stepped back in time

Went today for high tea absolutely first class, friendly staff and amazing decorations around the walls. will be calling again for a meal next time.

I rang at lunchtime to reserve a table for four (very last minute) I had an autistic child with me who struggles to sit down quietly but wasn't made to feel embarrassed as he wandered around. The food was amazing, all home cooked. Can't recommend enough! Thank you to all of you 🥰
