Waiting in the queue to be served at Hooton lodge when they just closed without even an explanation then just stuck a sign up saying back in 30 minutes. Extremely ignorant and a disgraceful way to treat customers who are waiting to spend money with you

I was in york for the food festive and came across Devon’s kitchen’s van. So I tried his lamb curry and my gosh it was delicious. Melt in your mouth lamb with excellent flavour. I am very happy with my purchase.

Just got home after picking this up from market and plated it up. Always on point everytime! Since moving too it's hard to find now or come across at all so thank you 🤌 🙏

I got married on a rainy October 29th 2022. I prayed for some sunshine and my prayers were answered. .The sunshine in question was the amazing food supplied by Devons Kitchen of Doncaster uk.The food was sunshine on a plate.Tasty curried goat and sublime jerk chicken all served up with a smile .My guests just kept going back for more.The complements were coming thick and fast.Where did you find him ..how do we book. What occasions does he cater for.The food was the icing on the cake ..making my day even more special ..if that was possible.One guest from Spain even took some away with her to enjoy after she flew back home..Devon you have gotten 5 stars ..it would have been more but trip advisor doesn't allow it.xx Maybe we will see you again on our anniversary .xx

This food is very good quality, you can tell that the meat is fresh and not frozen, exellent flavour good qaulity and Devon the owner is very experienced in preparing good Jamaican food. We are now regularly ordering from devons you will not be disappointed..

Had food from Devonskitchen at a friends party. It was sublime. I don't usually eat rice but went back for seconds. Chicken was great and goat curry out of this world. Will definitely visit for takeaway. Thanks again guys. You made Paul's party even better.

Delicious authentic and quality Caribbean food with generous portions and well stocked with menu options. One of the best in Yorkshire for sure and vegan options also available.

Amazing food my absolute favourite takeaway due to COVID I have been picking it up I always order the jerk chicken me and my brother are obsessed! The kind women even gave me a free drink the other day because we were waiting for some chips and it was hot outside such nice staff!

Very impressed. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. We normally eat rather large portions and looking at the food we didn't think it would be enough. Wow we were wrong. We had 2 dumplings, 2 pieces fried chicken, coleslaw & 1 curry mutton with rice. £15. Shared that between us and we could barely finish it. Will definitely be returning.

Just been in Devon school for first time had a mixed box smelt great and the taste very tasty just enough spice for us, we well definitely be calling in again.

Tried Devon’s kitchen tonight for the first time and it certainly won’t be the last. The jerk chicken melted in the mouth and the rice and peas were delicious. Looking forward to trying more off the menu next time.

Devon and Jayne came Sunday 23rd June for a friend's and family garden party after our sons marriage. The food was fantastic. The set up great. Came, set up and cleared up with no fuss. Brilliant. There food is out of this world

This is my second order form Devon's Kitchen, and again it never fails to taste and look fantastic. Makes a great change from Pizza, Indian and Chinese everyday takeaway. Give it a chance and you will be surprised, none of the dishes are over spicy so suitable for most.

This is the 4th time we have eaten take out from Devons Kitchen and once again we were not disappointed. With a simple order of: Jerk Chicken Ackee & Callaloo Dumplings Fried Plantain (Rice & peas comes with the mains) We had a very, very tasty and filling meal, we actually saved one portion of rice for the freezer to have later. The staff are friendly, easy to chat with and quite happy for you to have a taste before you order. All in all Devons Kitchen is possibly the best take out meal in Doncaster, give it a try you cannot be disappointed.

Tried this place after hearing good things. We ordered a number of different dishes so we could try a few things. There's some i wouldn't order again (such as the mac and cheese as it was a bit salty for me) but the majority are absolute winners!

Excellent food and good service. Jerk could do with being spicier and they run out of things quickly sometimes, but otherwise they're great

Goat curry is amazing in fact all the dishes I have had are great! Really nice bloke that owns it too. Worth a try if you like indian food but are prepared to try something a little different

Our first order from Devon and will certainly not be our last the food was really nice with loads of flavour. Must admit think we went over board with the amount we ordered but nothing went to waste. Can highly recommend the chicken and goat curries. Give it a try.

Attended my friends wedding 2 weeks ago where Devon’s kitchen was booked for outside catering wow what can I say the best food 🥘 I have eaten at a wedding reception piping hot full of flavour & lovely staff highly Recomended !!!!!

We ate with Devon's Kitchen as outside catering at a wedding and I can't speak highly enough of the food. It was incredibly delicious, plentiful, piping hot and served with a smile and a laugh. Just wish we lived nearer so I could eat from them again!

Some of the best Jamaican food I have tried and I have cooked and eaten a lot! 10/10 for flavour and service. The prices are really good too. I would highly recommend and definitely visit again! Proper authentic home cooking!

As this was our first experience we were unsure as what to choose. Not a problem as were offered small taster pots before we bought. We chose jerk Chicken, goat curry, callaloo and fried plantain. All were beautifully cooked. The meats were slow cooked and so tender using the freshest of ingredients and fine herbs and spices. The servings came with rice and peas and side salad. We didn't get to meet Devon as he was away at a good festival but his nephew who was serving last night was so lovely in explaining the dishes and in helping us choose.

Been waiting for this place for years absolutely love it I’ve had various different dishes all been excellent I’ve been eating this food all my life so am a pretty good judge the only thing what stops me going every week is it been on other side of bridge to me and the traffic chaos in bentley at present, staff all very friendly and welcoming my mam even made a dish suggestion of salt fish cakes which we got at reduced price for making the suggestion and they were quality I believe these are now a regular feature on the menu will be back again very soon oh and the portions are amazing love devons kitchen would 1000000% recommend

Devon’s kitchen is a breath of fresh air I had jerk chicken it was top the true flavour of jerk the rice and peas were tasty to I will be trying the curried goat next time top place must try for anyone how like flavour

We have been wanting to try Devons Kitchen (Caribbean Take Away) for a few weeks now, but because its on the other side of town we never got round to it.

Really pleased with our take-away order from Devon’s kitchen. The food was lovely. Really friendly and chatty couple who own the business. Would definitely recommend if you want to try a take-away that is a something a little bit different.

We ordered at this new takeaway on its opening night. Lovely choices and great portions. The goat curry and rice us delicious as is the jerk chicken. We would recommend it and we'll certainly be back when next in the area.
