So this is story all about how The bread got baked till golden brown I’d like to take a minute and just sit right there To tell you how I came to smell the Knead Bakery Air In mexborough Town Centre Born and raised On the playing fields is where I spent most of my days Chill maxin, relaxing all cool I was shooting some golf balls off the youth club roof Then a couple of guys there where up-to no good Started making trouble in the neighbor hood I got in in one little fight and my nan god scared She says “you’re not to go to Staniforths, those thugs live near there” I googled near by bakery’s It was Knead that appeared Recommendations, good reviews coming out of my ears And if anything I would say in Mexborough that’s rare So I thought I better try it “Yo nan am going there” I pulled up to a shop about about seven or eight And I yelled to the owner “yo holmes, I smell ya bread” Sitting in the cafe, I was finally there, eating home made sausage rolls, drinking coffee cafetiere.

Knead recently catered our Christmas buffet for work. All the food was delicious, and plentiful. Everything is made on the premises. The Mince Pies were the best I've ever had. These were deep filled with a lovely apple mincemeat. Highly recommended!

Just stopped at Knead for a quick spot of lunch before an appointment at Montagu Hospital. Food is genuinely nice, everything is baked on the premises. Pastries on display on the counter looks scrumptious, and beautifully finished. Front of house was efficient and courteous. A very pleasant surprise.

We called in after an early morning hospital visit and were pleasantly surprised. As the full name of this venue is Knead Bakery and Coffee Shop , I wasn't expecting more than coffee and cakes , but the place is larger inside than it appears to be and offers an interesting range of breakfasts up to 11.45am ( I had a very satisfactory Eggs Benedict ) and a reasonable range of lunches up to 14.30. A range of pastries and breads are available , which I think are made on site. Clean and modern in design , it is well worth a visit. Vegetarian options are available , but toilets are up a flight of stairs , which may present a problem for some customers. The only other drawback is that there is no car park. As this is on a busy main road , it may be difficult to park close to the coffee shop , but free parking is available in adjacent streets.

Such a unique experince. How wonderful to experience authentic, delicious dishes, created in a spotless kitchen, by a passion chef. The mutton curry was particularly good. Very reasonable prices, would highly recommend.

This is now our “go to” place in Bawtry! We’ve visited Ben’s on numerous occasions, whether it be for cocktails, or dinner, and on each visit we are looked after impeccably by their polite and cheerful staff. On our latest visit we entertained friends who have been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, and they were overwhelmed with the whole set up at Ben’s. We ended the night moving downstairs in to the cellar bar, which is superb and intimate, to enjoy a few nightcaps and dance the night away!

I took my daughter and two friend to Doncaster for the weekend and stumbled across this place. We went in for dinner as the menu outside look very reasonable. Once enter we were greeted my Rachel Walker, who immediately made us feel welcome. After Rachel discovers that we were there celebrating my daughters birthday she couldn't do enough to make it special. when the girls ordered mock tails, she set the cocktail bar up for the girls to make their own, with the help of Sam and Josh ( who were a big hit with the girls) the food was very nice and at a reasonable price. Thank you Rachel for making my night easier . Tracy
