Cocktails on the terrace , followed by the finest Neapolitan pizza known to man, and finished by dancing the night away in Bens late night cellar bar! It’s basically the “one stop” night out venue, it has everything! As always I would like to mention the fabulous staff, who are so polite and courteous. We are back again soon for a private birthday party in the cellar bar, we can’t wait!

Had a very lovely time visiting Ben’s for the first time. Every time I think ‘I want a pizza,’ the pizza at Ben’s is exactly what I envision. So delicious and the perfect kind of pizza 😁

We booked this venue for our daughter’s, Maya, 21st birthday party. The venue is a bar / eatery and also has vaulted cellar which can be hired out for private parties. From start to finish, Ben and his team were superb, from taking the booking for the venue all the way through to the party. The party room has a well stocked bar ( good choice of bottled beers, wines, liqueurs, spirits - you can also get draught beers from the main bar), dance floor, bench seating and lighting. We also had pizzas, freshly made on site by Ben, brought round by his waiting staff. The DJ was great and around 60 guests enjoyed a brilliant night. Can’t recommend this place highly enough

My husband and I you could say are quite the pizza connoisseurs (eating numerous pizzas a week) - but nothing has come close Ben’s Neapolitan pizzas! We had the classic Margaritas (Say Cheese) and the Hawaiian (Hawaii Five-O). 10/10 a must try!! We will be back very soon!

Just had a fantastic takeaway pizza made by Ben, absolutely delicious.. even ate the crust as it was so good, really tasty and we so enjoyed it..had a cheeky cider as I arrived early. Thank you Ben!

We had heard so much about the wonderful private parties that Ben’s organise for you, that we thought this to be the ideal venue for my wife’s 60th birthday bash! It was an absolutely fabulous day from start to finish. We decided to book the cellar bar, as we felt this would be great, considering we had asked for a live singer, followed by a DJ. The cellar itself has so much character, it’s unbelievable! If you didn’t want the cellar, there’s the option of hiring the main bar which is on ground level. Drinks on arrival for guests were served by such a friendly member of staff, I believe her name was Kayleigh. The buffet table was laid out just as we had asked, and looked superb. We had the option of booking the whole venue ( the main bar with outside terrace,and the cellar) but as we only had 70 guests in total, there was more than enough space to enjoy the whole day in the cellar bar. Ben himself was there all the time overseeing everything and making sure we all had a party to remember, which we all certainly did! Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful day!

We’ve visited Bens on numerous occasions since it opened earlier this year. We are always greeted like long lost friends, and treated impeccably. The latest addition of “The Cellar”, is outstanding! The best tonic in the world for a Saturday night out! A wonderful vibe with tremendous drinks, and a live DJ, to dance the night away into the early hours! Just give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I recently visited Bens Bar with a group of friends. The staff were extremely friendly the cocktails were fabulous! (Possibly even the best I've ever tasted!!) Ben's Bar is exactly what Bawtry needed and has become my new favourite spot. Thanks Ben !

I have tried every dish off the menu and the food was fantastic The service was great and staff very friendly and polite It had a great buzz playing great music Brilliant atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit I will definitely be going back

Ben kicked me and my friend out after she spilt some water on the sofa. Both the bouncers said we were clearly sober. Wouldn’t let me inside even though I was clearly freezing cold and stone cold sober. I will never ever return to bens and I hate him and his bar.

So we had heard REALLY good things about this place. It's still relatively new but its clear they have experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry due to the sheer level of service received and quality of the dishes. We were greeted by the owner Ben as we walked onto the terrace and into the restaurant area. A very well mannered young girl came and took our drinks order, followed shortly after with the food order. The atmosphere inside the cozy sized restaurant/bar was warm and friendly, with what felt like a healthy mix of regulars and passers by. I also just want to add how much we loved music playlist - we actually went and asked for the Spotify playlist after our meal! To drink we shared a bottle of Prosecco and had two outstanding Porn Star Martinis. To eat, I had the Veggie Smash Burger with skin on fries - which was UNREAL. Being a veggie I have eaten my fair share of veggie burgers, but this one was really something else. The flavours, the presentation, just divine. My friend who is not Veggie opted for the Buffalo Chicken Sando with Beef Rub Fries. It's fair to say that was gone in 60 seconds! Verdict from them - *mouth-full two big thumbs up* We absolutely loved our experience here at Ben's and will 100% be coming back when we are next over that way!

A brilliant new addition to Bawtry! Warm friendly atmosphere upstairs with the option to eat alfresco on the stylish terrace area until late. I have to say, after eating at every restaurant in Bawtry over the years, Bens serves some of the best dishes I’ve had to date, absolutely superb! The cocktails and wines were top notch too 👌 They have also just opened the late night bar down in the basement which I have been told has the latest license in Bawtry - open until 2am at the weekends. Music was perfect; really great to see something like this back in town, as before we would have to trek out to Donny if we wanted a bit of boogie but now it’s back on our doorstep!

Nothing vegetarian, and when asked if they could make something without meat they said “no.”. I don’t think I’ve ever been somewhere without at least 1 veggie option it’s really very poor. I was made to feel like the problem by staff - wouldn’t recommend

We have brought friends here since our first visit and everyone has loved it! There is a great menu of small plates and tapas with specials being added occasionally too. Ben has built a lovely team here with all staff being super friendly and helpful - this is our new favourite for drinks or food with friends - Thanks Ben, this is what Bawtry needed! 😍

We visit Bawtry quite often, as it’s such a lovely little town, with an abundance of bars and restaurants. Bens bar and kitchen is the latest addition, and it is fabulous! We called in one warm evening for drinks, and to sample some of their delightful cuisine, as we had heard so many good reports. We were greeted by a charming guy, who I later found out to be Ben! He asked us if we would like to sit inside or outside, but as it was warm we sat outside. The outside terrace is so roomy, with an abundance of seating choices. We decided to relax on the sofas in the shade. Menus were brought out without delay, and the young lady ran through everything with us, explaining the menu and telling us about the daily specials. We decided upon the lamb shoulder tacos, the Korean chicken tenders , the whipped goats cheese citrus salad, Blistered Padron peppers, and the steak rubbed fries, all cooked to perfection and served impeccably. To drink we went for cocktails to start, which were simply outstanding, dare I say the best I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve had my fair share around the world! With our food we had an exquisite dry rose, it was so nice to see a wonderful rose on the menu which wasn’t one of those awful commercial ones! I decided also to have a peep inside the restaurant and bar area. So much thought must have gone in to maximise the space , as it’s so spacious, and the decor is so crisp and clean. All in all a memorable first visit, and we can’t wait to go again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
