Por un lado mi plato que era Cigur Tava (Corderos de hígado) era fantástico y muy agradable, pero mi principal Sarma. No era si Beyti es porque yo no estoy acostumbrado a que sirve comida turca o no, pero me pareció que el yogur de montaña en el centro del plato un poco mucho.¿me daría una segunda oportunidad? Sí lo haría.Me podría recomendar un lugar para ir? Como he dicho, en dos mentes. Yo creo que decir "Sí" si estás probando cosas locales, pero 'no' si era para una ocasión realmente especial. Habiendo dicho eso, pendiente de mi próxima visita. Yo podría cambiar mi mente.

This place was pretty quiet, which is a shame as it should be booming with customers. The food is beautiful. Really fresh and well prepared. Very happy.

Now called Yousefs after the Chef owner. Best to book ahead ans pick a quiet time as the owner likes to do most of the cooking and service. Best food by far compared to other similar places.

looks a very nice place from the outside, inside is clean and the décor fine. pop music playing, which was a surprise. usually in such places you would expect the music to mirror the cuisine's country of origin. service was fine, not too sure about the chef emptying my beer bottle into the glass so he could take the empty away! can't comment too much on the atmosphere as we were the only ones there. the food was poor given the prices. I think you could do better at home, particularly when the wedges I ordered were clearly from a bag. so not really value for money, despite large portions. wasn't particularly happy about paying £3.30 for a bottle of Budweiser which was from a multipack, as it stated on the back of the bottle. perhaps this is why the chef was keen to take the empty from the table quite sharpish. I wouldn't go back. First experience of Turkish cuisine and likely the last.

El mejor lugar que puedas estar. La comida está recién preparada por el chef, que es una gran cosa. También está muy cerca de la ciudad así que hay un fácil transporte. Recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que quieran un poco de tiempo para relajarse con sus amigos o familia. Por otra parte, el personal es muy amable y es fácil comunicarse con ellos. También están tratando de hacer todo lo disfrute. Es un lugar fantástico, comida deliciosa. Este lugar es realmente se merece 5 estrellas.

Vine aquí hace unos días y los entrantes son preciosas, me había mezclado mezze con pan plano en forma y estaba delicioso! Como plato principal tenía brochetas de pollo y papas fritas, también fueron cocinado a la perfección! El personal era muy agradable y bienvenido, así que sin duda volveré y lo recomiendo!

Estuve aquí hace un par de días y puedo decir con orgullo que he ordenado Mezze ambivalente como aperitivo, que era uno de los mejores sabores y sabrosa comida que tuve en pareja últimos años. Fue el mejor. Comí pollo salteado como un plato principal. Me quedé totalmente sorprendidos por el sabor. que me sorprendió ver. He ordenado Baklava como un postre que es casera, estaba delicioso. Y he pedido a la chef para conseguir la receta, él era descarado y él no me dieron receta y me han dicho que lo desde aquí cuando me gusta. Gran servicio, un personal agradable, ambiente agradable. Recomiendo este lugar a todo el mundo.

Excelente servicio muy atento sin ser entrometido. En cuanto a la comida. Tuve unos corderos entrante de hígado era quizás el mejor plato que he tenido. Amigos elogiaron allí's. El plato principal estaba cocinado a la perfección y abundante y además nos volveremos a presentado. Puedo decir honestamente que una comida excelente. Es muy limpio y el aseo son restaurante con comida preparada en una cocina abierta. Volveremos.

The most authentic Turkish restaurant in Doncaster. Freshly cooked and great foods very friendly staff,they all know what they are doing with much experience. I recommend everyone to come and visit and give it a try😋

Estoy de acuerdo con otros que la popularidad de este restaurante parece haber disminuido de tarde pero sólo puedo asumir que es porque hay otros 2 restaurantes similares cerca de donde una vez fue exclusivo.

Me and boyfriend went on the mishap of having won a voucher for here on a raffle.. As quiet as it was we didn't let that put us off. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the food was gorgeous and good sized portions! The garlic flatbread is absolutely gorgeous and we will be returning this weekend!!

I came here about 2 years ago on a works do and the food was great and the restaurant was full with a good atmosphere. Recently the wife and I booked a table for a friday night. Upon our arrival the restaurant was empty with only 2 staff in. We were very unsure why it was empty when the other restaurants we had walked past were full. That said the service was great. The food (starters spicy salami and main course of mixed grill and vegetarian pasta) was lovely, and the fact it was empty meant we could hear each other speak.

Arrived by 7pm and was immediately rushed to a table even though our table was booked for 7.30 . The restaurant was cold and empty . The waitress kept coming up to us to ask for our order even though we had asked for more time . The customer service was very poor , the food cold and you constantly heard the microwave pinging in the background . The dessert was the worst I have had and the restaurant remained cold and virtually empty the entire time . I would not recommend this place nor would I go again . It is such a shame as the restaurant has potential .

My wife and I had a lovely meal in this restaurant. The food and service were great. All the food is freshly cooked. We shared a starter for two, which was huge, and included white bait, squid, chicken liver, and some tasty rolls.For mains my wife had a beef stew and I had a chicken dish, both were delicious.We were both too full for a sweet, but had coffees to finish off.With the bill we were given complimentary almond liqueur.I would strongly recommend you try this little gem.

The service was terrible the young girls had no customer service skills neither did the man taking orders who forgot to write down what we wanted then forgot our order. We were also asked to share a coleslaw. The food was very poor as well as the menu. Would not go back!

Excellent food! And very friendly staff and food is made from fresh ingredients.The best place you could visit in Doncaster! I think everyone should give a visit to this place,you don't know what you are missing out on.

This is our 3rd visit and to be honest every time we've loved the food. It's well presented and full of flavour, generous portions etc. But each time we visit it is so quiet, although it was quite early on a Saturday we were surprised to be the only customers? Staff and manager all welcoming, nice surroundings and the starters and mains were first class, we didn't have room for desert. Hope it starts picking up custom.

Visited Tipsy last evening with my partner. Disappointed in a number of ways. The fusty smell of a damp building as soon as we entered.Very off hand reception and service from the staff.The main meal selected from the menu was not available. A lamb dish, but all other lamb dishes were available?The drink I seleceted was not available.Generally I thought the meals were at the top end of the pricing for what they were and for the area.On the positive side the meal I seleceted was ok.Would I visit again, no.

I went to this restaurant with a group of friends on a Saturday evening in September.The service was very poor,atmosphere was zero. It was cold and we had to ask for the air con to be turned off.I ordered Beef Stroganoff and the beef was tough,the sauce was bland. So disappointed especially as it was one of the more expensive dishes on the menu.It took ages for main meal to arrive and the waitress had been told by the chef not to collect our dirty Starter plates until he was ready.Sadly I won't be visiting again.

Food nice and cooked fresh. Average puddings. Menu enough choice if a bit pricey. Staff welcoming. Hard to find parking as its yellow lines out front. Cebtral to town if going drinks after. Nice clean venue.

I've been to Tipsy bar on quite a few occasions but the last time was just the best. Very warmly greeted and seated,We had the most delicious starters to share (olives, tzatziki, flat breads etc) Both mains were just amazing, we were too full for dessert!It was our wedding anniversary which I'd mentioned on booking, I had NO idea we would get a free bottle of champagne, two amaretto's and 5% off our bill! I've never been so shocked in my life.The owner is a wonderful man, the staff are brilliant and the food...well try it and see! Can't recommend enough!

Went on a recommendation and was not disappointed. There were two couples and we all enjoyed our starters and mains. Had the mixed skewers and it was very nice, cooked well and very tasty. The place is smart and clean, service was good and it was not to busy. Would defo go again

Visit here regularly with friends, family and colleagues. I always have the same dish (chicken penne pasta) which is devine, as far as any other main dishes go I don't know personally but they always get complimented by other visitors etc. The service at Tipsy is great, very attentive staff who don't need to be prompted by senior staff and always ensure you are comfortable when visiting the restaurant! Added bonus is the relaxed atmosphere and it is never over-crowded which is great as you feel you can take your time with your meals and have a good night. Also, the free shots you get at the end of every meal is fab!The drinks prices aren't bad at all and they serve a wide range, the meal prices are neither over-priced.All in all, always come here, and will carry on doing so.

This is one of our regular places which we eat in now. Tasty, healthy, freshly prepared food all presented well. Meze starters are fantastic and you are normally full by the main course. Personally recommend Tavuk Sis, Masaka or chicken stroganoff - those being my favourites. Good selection of deserts and after dinner drinks. No matter how busy, the staff are always friendly and accommodating. Nothing is a problem! Brilliant value. Been here with partner, friends and family and they all come back for more!! There is outdoor seating for these warmer months too!

Went for my birthday. Restaurant was very empty however the staff were lovely and very friendly and attentive. Inside of the restaurant was very nice and modern, although the restaurant isn't in the best of places in town I would definitely go back. The food was very very nice with all of the different flavours! Even got complementary dips and wraps along with complementary shots. Very reasonably priced and would definitely go again!

Went for a meal for a our wedding anniversary and wished we hadn't bothered. The chicken dish I had was poor and the chicken overcooked. My wife's different chicken dish was very bland and dissapointing. To make things worse we were then served a pudding that I watched them warm up in the microwave and serve hot on the outside and cold on the inside. Sorry but I won't be returning

Cosy little restaurant with an open plan kitchen. Simple décor with bench seating along one side of the wall and free standing tables and chairs alongside the opposite wall. The Mezze assortment was good. The mixed grill was well presented, plentiful although on the tepid side, so were the other main courses. We were the only clientele in the restaurant and the main courses were prepared too far in advance. The meals were very tasty.

decided to have a change from the normal eat out, first impression was great but began to be a little suspect when one of the staff was spraying something on the floors around our table.The service was ok but the food was very disappointing, and after the forth time of being asked if everything was ok it got to be rather annoying.

We have had meals here a few times now and have not been disappointed, the service is good with staff being attentive but not overly so. Food is cooked to order with the open kitchen being at the back of the restaurant. Don't expect to walk in sit down order and eat in 5 minutes.Food is of excellent quality and freshly prepared. the restaurant serves Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. Don't be expecting Donner Kebabs. This is a real restaurant. The mixed fish stew is excellent and my wife swears the mousaka is the best she has tasted in this country there is a full range of hot and cold starters as well as specials, main courses and dessert. As you would expect vegetarians are well catered for.Prices are not over the top and are good value for money.it is a place we return to, with both friends and family. I suggest you try it. I'd be surprised if you are disappointed.

I regularly eat here, Yusuf and his team do a great job. The food is fresh, made from scratch , home cooked and delicious . It is so good I keep coming back. Highly recommended .

We went for my birthday meal, first time for both of us. Service was slow and strained, the restaurant was quite busy at first with only 2 people waiting on but even when it quitened down the service did not improve. The food was tasty, we both had the mixed grill for main and the Dips and flat bread platter for 2 for starters however no one explained to us what the dips were nor which of the meats were what on the mixed grill. The biggest complaint for me was that we ordered a bottle of Prosecco for about £16 and it wasn't even cold, served in wine glasses and room temperature is not acceptable. I even had to put an ice cube in it to reduce the temperature!! I would normally have complained and sent the bottle back but given my boyfriend arranged it all for my birthday I didn't want to make a fuss. Overall nice food but as per my title, could do better. I don't normally leave reviews but feel that aggrieved by last nights experience that I need to vent and share. Real shame.

We visited here @18months ago and had a good meal. Back in Doncaster recently we decided to go back again. Really glad we did, the restaurant was maybe half full not too busy but nice atmosphere. Served prompty and well looked after by the 2 lovely girls on duty saturday night.We both had excellent meals, fresh, hot and good portions for a reasonable price. Plenty to choose from on the menu and we had a few sides to go with our meal instead of opting for starters or desserts. Couldn't fault anything about the place and would certainly return again.

Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Not the cheapest food in town and the service could improve. But overall we enjoyed our time in there and would re visit the place.

Been a few times with family and as couples and had better service. Felt like three young girl staff were on first night and struggling. Food and atmosphere still lovely so hope it goes back to fab service too.

Lovely place and well run by the chef owner. Needs top head waiter otherwise great food and lovely place. Very good menu and nice bar area. Lovely staff if a little inexperienced and overwhelmed when full. Briliant for couples singles or families. Nice ouside covered area for smokers and easy to park. Top end of Netherhall opposite old Netherhall Mansion. Will definitely be back.

Just like to thank all the staff for a great 50th birthday for my husband the food was great There were 15 of us and all the food came out hot and noboby was waiting we all got served all togetherHe let me call in the afternoon to put balloons and banners up. Will definately go back

The menu was varied and perfect for kust ordering a variety & sharing. We had mixed meze starter with flatbread which was so fresh & tasty! We also had borek, a kind of feta filo cigar. I've had these before but Tipsy's were phenomenal, light, no grease AT ALL. Main was a mixed grill & boy can these guys cook meat! Perfectly seasoned and spiced and easily enough. Lamb skewers, chops & shish as well as chicken on the bone an off -all of it the most tender. Served with further dips, generous crisp dressed salad and THE best hand cut chips! Service with a smile, couldn't do enough. We'll back! Yamas Tipsy!!

Meal with friends. Flat bread starter is fantastic. Mixed plate starter good too. Main courses not bad. Service quite good. All in all a much much better experience than at turkuaz further along the same road, a definate winner out of the two in my book.

My main gripe was the service. If the waitresses actually paid attention rather than chatting to each other then customers might get served sooner. There was one in particular with a real bee in her bonnet and a consistently bad attitude throughout the night. Get another job if you don't enjoy it lady. The food was nice but slightly cold as it took so long to come. Really over-priced for the service provided in my honest opinion. There are many other nice restaurants in Doncaster I will be frequenting, rather than this one.

We attended for a silver anniversary celebration. We arrived earlier than the rest of the party and it took quite a long time to be greeted at the door. Eventually a menu was brought to us while we waited for rest of party attended. We've used Tipsys before and what draws us back every time is the consistent quality of the food. Of the 6 in our party nobody had any regrets in what they ordered. My minor criticism was that the hummus I ordered was a slightly thinner than would normally like. My main - mixed grill was amazing. Cubed lamb, minced lamb, chicken kebabs served with a lamb chop and chicken wing were all cooked perfectly, the lamb in particular was still pink in the middle, something most Doncaster restaurants cannot get right. My dessert - Baklava was authentic and left me fit for bursting. The only disappointment I had was that there was only one waiter responsible for the whole restaurant, which wouldn't have been too much of an issue if he wasn't having to help in the kitchen as well. When he was with us he was polite at all times but always seemed rushed due to his multi tasking. We will continue to use Tipsys as it delivers great food every time but feel they could boost their reputation further by allowing their waiters more time to deliver great service.

The restaurant has really nice decor. Fantastic Mediterranean food, and friendly staff. Well worth a vist.

Visited the Tipsy Bar & Grill on the back of recommends from this page. We visited on a Saturday night and the place was quiet only four tables in. The waitress met us at the door and we were quickly seated with menu in hand, drinks were served promptly. The waitress did take a while to re-attend the table for the food order also asking if we wanted more drinks. Service was good and the food was excellent, fresh, full of flavour and the right size portions, Our glasses were never empty before we were asked if more drink was required. Two hours in the restaurant flew by and the bill came. I was a little disappointing to see the price of non premium lager £4 per pint. over priced in my opinion. I would highly recommend a visit, the place is very clean with an open kitchen. all food was well presented on modern platters.Only but gripe was the a table of ladies next to us who were constantly on their i Phones(Get a life)Many thanks

We have visited this establishment many times and enjoyed it every time. It has a relaxed friendly feel; the staff couldn't be more helpful. The food is brilliant and reasonably priced too. Definitely recommend.

Well, think I've said it all in the title really...The waitresses were sour-faced and frankly condescending, they told us in advance we'd be waiting for our food (no apology), the food was fantastic- no complaints on that side- although it took 70 minutes to arrive, and yet again no apology for the lateness, during which time what can only be described as 'heart-break' music was playing from the speakers. The bill came, they had tried to charge us 18 quid rather than the (still overpriced) 13 pound for a bottle of house wine. I informed the waitress of the mistake to which she replied 'they didn't have the one you wanted left so we changed it to this' expecting that to be a valid excuse...?!Needless to say I left no tip.

This is truly one of the best places for food in doncaster ! ... And I'm not one for holding back complaints or sending back meals if they are not To a decent standard !!!

We werent going out but decided we were hungry late on and took a drive to town wanted somewhere we could just park near and eat and stumbled across tipsy... we just ordered mains and was pleasantly surprised when a complimentary selection of starters were brought out to us... I can be fussy and wouldnt have ordered or normally eaten the stuff that was brought out but my god have I been educated... their home made hummus is somethin else... that czuk stuff I think it was called with the garlic yoghurt cucumber thing... to die for... the people who got to near my breath after may have actually done so too. And the two other things were good too... wish now id asked what they all were.Then the main course out.. I had the mixed grill the missus had the spicy minced lamb kebab... began with a and we asked for more of the czuck stuff to have with it...make sure if you are a couple u both have it to avoid embarrassment. We went for a meal ad out first complaint was that the food was cold. When I went to ask for it to be taken back because it wa warm the 'chef' put it in the microwave.. Anyone working in the food industry knows that chicken can not be reheated. The little blonde waitress was more than helpful and was a delight, but i felt ever so sorry for her when the manager/ chef was so nasty and rude to her, and blamed his own doings on her. If she was my daughter I would not be happy with someone talking to her like that. The other waitress was also very lovely but I felt ever so sorry for them having to put up with a manger like that. Never again.

Been here a few times, loved the food, service & atmosphere every time! Nestled half way down netherhall road a block down from most of the eateries but by far the best in doncaster, excellent value, hidden gem!

Nestled down a side street a short walk from town this little gem of a restaurant offers amazing food and fantastic service. I have been here many times, each time the food is consistently brilliant and I felt they deserved a review. We have tried most of the menu and have never been disappointed, I can recommend the grilled halloumi, the home made hummus is to die for and the meat and kebabs are tender and so full of flavour. Pay these guys a visit, I guarantee you won't be dissapointed.

Visited this restaurant recently for a family get together for Christmas. At the time the table was booked or at any time during the evening we weren't advised that we would only have the table for a limited time, then would have to vacate. Instead we were told after we asked for the dessert menu that we had to move from the table. The manager was then reluctant to talk to us about the problem & when he did he was rude & so we left without desserts, coffees or further drinks. in fairness they did knock something off the bill to compensate for our evening being unexpectedly cut short.

The staff are very welcoming. The menu has lots of options and the quality of the food is spot on. For a quick, enjoyable and rewarding evening, give Tipsy a try.

I've been to Tipsy about five times or so over the last year and I must say, the staff are wonderful and the food is good as well! Never had a complaint up to press......the restaurant is modern and clean, it provides a very relaxing and chilled atmosphere where you can enjoy a nice meal at reasonable prices.

We came here for a family Christmas meal. Food was really nice but towards the end of the evening we were told we had to leave as the next group of people had arrived. By this point we had not been offered deserts which we were going to purchase and we were told we had to either wait at the bar with our drinks or leave. The manager was very obnoxious but his members of staff were very willing to help and diffuse the situation. They offered a discount on the bill which was appreciated considering the haste in which we left, but after the arguement it left a sour taste in some peoples mouths. The food was very nice though it's a shame we didn't get to taste the deserts. I may give it a go in future.

Our first impressions of Tipsy were excellent, nice decor, friendly waiter, what could possibly go wrong..........The food was nice to be fair but the evening deteriorated rapidly when we were abruptly asked to leave after our main course as we were informed they had another booking. As we all wanted desserts and more drinks we requested to see the manager, when he eventually came out he could not have been more rude if he'd have wanted to be. He told us that he had told us at the point of booking that we were on a time limit which he definitely had not then proceeded to raise his voice and say he wasn't interested in our complaint and that he was " a busy man". This situation deteriorated rapidly when the manager started being abusive towards us and we decided to leave. I would advise anyone to avoid this restaurant, anyone can make a mistake but its how you deal with them that matters, this vile man wasn't interested and made us feel completely worthless. STAY CLEAR!!!!!

Service is very laid back as is the atmosphere. The food is great, we just had a selection of starters but they were all very good.

I went last night with 5 friends and we all had the mixed grill and the mixed meze starter. I've got to say the food here is excellent, you can't beat the mixed grill which comes with a choice of potatoes, rice or bread. We were all a little surprised why there didn't seem to be many people in here which added to the atmosphere. However, if you're looking for some good grilled meat or fish then get yourself to Tipsy!

Loved it! Even though we thought we'd booked for a thai meal! (The website still advertised it as thai!) Gorgeous food and reasonably priced.Great to see the kitchen where everything was prepared, spotless and sparkling. Fab attention to detail and the discount was a lovely touch. Will definitely be returning!

Been here several times now, for both lunch and evening meals, the food and service is fabulous, like being able to see the kitchen and the staff are very attentive without being intrusive. All in all a nice relaxing atmosphere with fab food.

12 friends and I decided to try this place for my Birthday back in Februaryr. We were greeted on arrival by a lovely man, who I assume was the manager. He seated us instantly and took our drinks orders. Because we had booked in advance, food was already being prepared and we had out starters less that 10 minutes after sitting down. The quick service continued throughout the meal. One young waiter, by the name of Baris served us most of the time and was extremely lovely and welcoming, and happy to help! It's a shame that near the end of the meal, the manager asked us to be quiter in rather a rude manner, when we were speaking as a reasonable volume, but apart from that, brilliant!!!

Went here for a celebratory early tea with my partner. We ordered a mezze starter and skewers for mains. The starter was excellent, a great combination of different dips and flat breads, great for the hot day it was! It was really tasty and ordering extra flatbreads wasn't a problem! The main was equally nice. Tasty and matched up to the other Turkish restaurant we'd visited in doncaster. The service was also excellent. The owner/manager couldn't do enough for us! Great experience.

First off the food was fine, decent portions and freshly cooked to order, no probs. Also the service was pretty good considering it was 3/4 full on a saturday night.However we just felt there was something missing to make you want to rush back. Maybe lacking atmosphere, little touches like a few olives, breads and dips etc offered on your arrival like similar restaurants? Not much wrong to be fair so worth a try.

It is a bit of a strange layout but is clean with an open kitchen, always a good sign.The food was ok, in fact it was quite nice. The service was slow though. We went as a works do and although there was only 11 of us and we all ordered in advance it was slow in getting the food served. There was capacity for another 20-30 covers and we were the only ones in so I hate to think what it is like if they get busy.The bar service wasn't what I expected and was slow. If you want advice I would say the food itself is ok, maybe speed up order to delivery a bit. The area letting you down is table service both regards drinks and order taking. Sort this out and you will have a winner.Zest it isn't but is an alternative (not cheaper though). The 10% discount card given is a nice touch so can save you money if you return again. Apparently some nights they have belly dancers, see website or ring them.

i wanted to try this place after reading the reviews which appeared very positive.it certanly did not live up to espections.firstly its so cold and and noisy you can hardly have a conservation which creats a strange atmosphere.the service is not good enough.the menu sounds nice with a good vareity of food but each course was just ok.i dnt think i will go again.

Took my mother here for Sunday dinner, amazing food, great atmosphere and excellent service, highly recommended!

Outstanding with the food and value of money is unbelievable... Other restaurants around doncaster is more expecsive than Tipsy Bar & Grill.. Basically Tipsy is the only place you'd want to eat... You enter one once you wont want to come out again, the atmosphere is fantastic.

We had a very tasty meal of mixed starters, chicken, mussaka and beef mains all really nicely cooked and flavoursome - good portion sizes. I was too full for a pudding so just had ice cream but my cousin had chilled rice pudding (sutlac) which she really enjoyed. We also had a very nice bottle of wine. If I lived in Doncaster I would be a frequent visitor.Staff were attentive without being intrusive.

A nice quiet and calm atmosphere, background music just right, the mediterranean surroundings very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Meals are varied, well cooked and very tasty, pricing is reasonable for a nice restaurant like this.
