Stop regularly for breakfast always busy and always excellent. Family run business nice staff lots of choice and daily specials available.

Centuries old, traditional Yorkshire pub fare. Had a family gathering there, eight of us. Great menu, wonderful choices, quality food.

I was here today with my dog. I only ordered fries. The lady was very nice and the fries were very good. I will definitely be here again🥰🥰🥰

To describe this Restaurant as average I feel it pretty fair. There was nothing unpleasant about the venue, the staff were ok, the venue was clean and there is easy parking. Food: again, nothing wrong with it. The reason for a 3* is because every was just average. Staff did what they needed but nothing outstanding. The food was clearly brakes or something similar, edible but average. The Venue was average, nothing really stood out to warrant a second visit. It was a bit like eating a reasonable meal while visiting elderly relatives in a care home. If you’re looking for something that’s consistent, this is your place. But for a special birthday with friends it’s worth trying a good independent restaurant instead.

Very friendly and efficient service. We were there on 'steak night' so two rump steaks and a bottle of wine for £45. Steak was excellent.

We ordered the steak and ale pie...I was with a friend and my mother who were mortified that I wanted to complain. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures. Pub was busy as it was a hot day and a funeral at the same time. Back to the pie. It was all gravy with the odd tiny bits of meat. The biggest meat I had was fatty 😵‍💫 Compared to other hostililaries the pie is below average. And definitely would not recommend. Not value for money. The gravy tasted nice though. Giving it the 1 star review.

Lovely & clean, staff are lovely, seats outside in the sun, food & drinks look nice I didn’t get anything I just needed the loo & they let me use it without having to buy anything 🙌 thankyou I’ll pop in for breakfast soon

Saturday food shop at Asda in Wyke, running late, had a fish to go which was excellent. The serving lady was lovely asked if I wanted a few chips but I said no a fish was just what I wanted

Delivery was earlier than expected. Food was really tasty and hot when delivered. Would order again!

Very good family pub with good friends staff

One of my favourite weekly places to eat. It's the treat for the week. Hit or miss as to wether it's busy or not but I call ahead to place my order.

Really pleasant stay. All of the staff from Lynsey on reception to Jodie in the restaurant who organised a special meal because of my dietry requirements, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for the kindness. I shall definitely stay again.
