The best restaurants in City Bradford Yorkshire and The Humber

We were a party of eleven and arrived unannounced at lunchtime, the staff were happy for us to rearrange the tables and chairs to accomodate us all, despite there already being another large party in the cafe. Despite us all ordering and paying separately the food and drinks arrived together, hot and tasty. The staff were so friendly and efficient, a great place for lunch.

First time ordering from here, something different to the usual takeaway much healthier, good value and absolutely amazing taste. They came quick too! Can't wait for my next order 👍👍

We walked past this restaurant during the day , noted they were serving Palestinian cuisine and decided to go back and try it.The food was excellent, think Middle Eastern, and was served with one of the most delicious breads I have ever had which is paper thin. Also tried their traditional coffee which is very strong but again delicious and comes in a little pan. The staff are very friendly and it is a nice restaurant particularly upstairs.

Eat from her frequently whether it's a breakfast sandwich or something lighter at lunch time the food here is lovely and does exactly what it says on the tin, it's quick, tasty and the portion sizes are great too which offers great value for money. Will struggle to find a better sandwich shop when we move out the village after ten years but will be sure to pay a visit the next time we're over this way.

I the goat curry and it was delish. Staff are so friendly and nice relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend.

Sally Brown’s had been open for a number of months by the time I caught on to this fantastic Bar/Cafe and Live music venue on Bradford’s ground breaking North Parade . It stands out on the street with a huge streak of Mustard Yellow , which no doubt helped the owner Steve get through some challenging COVID Lockdown months. Inside the decor is a homage to all things Ska / Two Tone (and a bit of Northern / Sixties Soul )and retro sixties/seventies . Even in the loo’s ! I admit total bias as a passionate fan of these music genres’ . Food wise they provide a range of Grill / Dinner style dishes . Burgers / Hotdogs , cooked breakfasts , Jacket Potatoes , Nacho’s and Fish . Vegan and Veggie Options . Milkshakes , full range of coffee’s . Also a bar with some interesting beer options . There is a small stage which accommodates frequent live music which is the driving force behind the owners vision for the place. Its funky, friendly and unique . My mate came for a pre match meal and were won over by the home made fish fingers and chips ! Even more by the Ska/ Revival reggae / Two Tone sound track. Its a great addition to the positive changes provided by North Parade and if it was in London or Manchester it would be front page news. As the Specials sang … “ Enjoy Yourself “

Amazing selection cheap prices will be using again, quick delivery and very kind and respectful and using face masks and gloves when delivering.

Called here again today, only my second time but in as many weeks. We had lamb chops to start which were delicious. Mains were chicken karahi, chicken and keema karahi with chapatis, both were quality, full of flavour with a good slow burn going on. This is proper food served by friendly people. Highly recommended.

Amazing food truck, nice ladies, amazing CHEAP food. I wanted something light that morning and the menu only had heavy burger-y stuff. But the lady asked me what I was thinking of and she can make it light. I had an amazing sandwich that kept me full and a good cup of tea for 3.5 pounds..still wanna eat it again:(((

The restaurant is an authentic African restaurant. Love the atmosphere and will highly recommend to other families

Excelente comida y servicio. Visite aquí a menudo como solo trabajo opuesto. La comida es perfecta y un montón de opciones y especiales. El personal es un verdadero activo y siempre sonriente y servicial. Stacey el propietario es encantador y siempre hace tiempo para charlar.

Mira, yo realmente no puedo describir lo bueno es este restaurante. Tendrás que ir tú mismo. Basta con decir que ha quedado resentida deliciosa comida estilo casero Kurdo. conjeturo que los chicos nos nostálgico y decidimos raid reciepes abuelos de sus madres.Te dan una deliciosa sopa de lentejas antes de que he tenido la oportunidad de leer el menú.Hay una gran variedad de suculentos guisos con arroz y verduras, o grandes piezas de pollo y cordero. Sus panes Nan frescos son fantásticas. Lo mejor de todo son sus carnes a la brasa. El sabor de su cordero kebabs picada es divina sutil pero delicioso.Lo mejor de todo es el viernes especial - kofta picada cordero envuelto en arroz baja/tipo de trigo de pastelería búlgaro se unieron en un delicioso estofado de cordero.¡Oh! y el precio es muy razonable.Habits acerca de este lugar, pero sabrosa comida decente de pura nada desde la lejanía.Comida fantástica!

Geek retreat seemless blends games and coffee into a beautiful mix. All overseen by amazing staff and a fabulous manager. They have a great selection of shakes, warm drinks and light bites. All in the middle of a boardgames shop. You can borrow card and board games to make the visit even more entertaining and they have games machines. I'm not going to lie, I was super apprehensive ahead of visiting. I had this image in my mind and it made me nervous. But I couldn't have been made more welcome. The staff were super friendly, patrons were the same. Highly recommended as an alternate to s standard coffee. Especially if you want to play a game of munchkin or Cards Against Humanity as well.
