Sugarcane Cafe Bar in Bradford

I've had 2 delivered fro. This place excellent 👌 food and lovely service. The only problem is not clear in opening times. Says 9am-10pm. But always says not taking orders 🙄 please check this is correct as I woukd have ordered many more times 😊😊😊😊

Came with a friend to this little gem Sugarcane Cafe, which is independently owned. The cafe is very cosy, has a great ambience and a spectacular view of the Cathedral. We were warmly greeted by owner,who was simply wonderful, and staff were extremely kind and polite. All food freshly prepared, and we didn't wait too long. The service was fantastic, I would suggest come with some time, and be prepared to be amazed. Nick is a whizz with the food. The fried chicken waffles, wraps were scrumptious 😋 and the lattes, chai lattes were strong, just the way I like it. The American pancake with blueberries, icecream, with a hint of cinnamon was simply heaven on a plate. Will definitely 💯 per cent come down again.

Sugarcane cafe is what I always imagined a neighbourhood diner would be like. An owner who treats his customers like friends, food that is just hands down delicious and an environment where you can just unwind and take a load off. Tried the jerk chicken and crunchy chicken roll followed by a blueberry pancake. Every bite was a brilliant, flavour-packed one and clearly made with the intent to delight. Also, super kid friendly. It's always a worry when taking a toddler out to lunch but Nick and the crew know how to make it a great experience for all :) Will definitely be coming back.

Probably the best hash browns I've ever had. The lumberjack pancakes are definitely the most authentic I've had this side of the Atlantic. Very friendly owner.

My husband and I stopped in here today and were pleasantly surprised. We're both american and have yet to find a place as amazing as Sugarcane when it comes to authentic american classics. I had the breakfast burrito and my husband had the Lumberjack pancake breakfast, both were so so good. If you do make the trip here, I recommend carving out enough time to sit and hang out. The food was a bit of a wait but we got there right as they opened with only the owner working, so it's completely understandable.

A decent amount of choices on menu, open early as it should do for breakfasts, good WiFi. Will return.

True Gem in the Heart of Bradford! If you’re looking for a phenomenal cafe in Bradford, look no further than Sunflower Cafe.This is a wonderful family owned and operated cafe that offers an incredible selection of English, American and Caribbean dishes. I had the traditional English breakfast and my kids had the handcrafted XL American Kinder Bueno pancakes and M&M waffles! What a treat!!! The atmosphere is warm and cheerful, and the owner, Nick, is friendly and attentive, making sure the kids and I enjoyed every sip/bite! The food took a few minutes but I understand as it was all made from scratch. And, that’s not all… the kids enjoyed Amelia’s Slime Time while we waited for our food and even got to make slime one day!!! Will definitely be returning!

Came here spontaneously when in the area. Food took ages to be served. The worker explained that he’s a staff member down which I’d usually be ok with however, the food itself wasn’t very good. Portions were small and missed main items of the dish I.e beans or toast. Another small annoying thing was the meat served wasn’t pork. Venue itself is very nice and cosy.

Wonderful atmosphere a proper Friends vibe. The customer service was brilliant with a friendly welcome and went over the board to customer satisfaction. The meal we absolutely delightful with a real taste of Caribbean and American culture. Definitely will come back and recommend it. Got a breakfast burrito as well as a number of other items for some colleagues. All fabulous, nice and warm and extremely generous portion sizes for your money. Will definitely be coming back!

Great place for lovely, fluffy pancakes with a side of very friendly service. Perfectly cooked and delicious (with a hint of cinnamon I think? Yum). Generous portions too - left full and committed to returning here again! Would recommend

This is a lovely cafe with fantastic burgers! New drinks arrived while we were there, they were amazing!! Definitely try the non-alcoholic Irish Cream, it’s a winner!

Lovely place, cordially welcomed in on a cold miserable day. We come to Bradford once a year to get our van LPG serviced up the road at V8 Autogas - this is a perfect place to head for.

Finally we found an open indipendent coffe shop on our way. A lovely lady made us lovely coffees and latte. We also get some cakes and doughnuts. Nice decor. Hope to go back there for a full breakfast

Great little gem found in grey Bradford.cant wait for restrictions to be over to properly sit down and enjoy a coffee since it looks very cozy.Lovely friendly staff and love the free croissant that comes with every coffee. Defo recomend. And also a must try is the hazelnut cappuccino.

We needed a good local cafe, So we tried this place and the cappuccino I had was lovely. The croissant was nice and fresh, and the service was friendly.

The coffee is excellent. Called in the off chance and found a gem. Staff have great positive attitude, even after all the lock down restrictions they are genuinely happy to serve you.
