The best restaurants in Little Hampton Wychavon West Midlands

After 25 hours without electricity last weekend due to Storm Darragh and feeling cold and miserable, we drove into Evesham on a Sunday evening in search of a restaurant for supper. Walking into the Blue Lagoon we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and a "nothing too much trouble" attitude from the friendly staff, who ensured we had a table by a radiator. As our power was not scheduled to be restored until the next day, we were even told we could stay until closing time to keep warm! Within minutes it was obvious that this spotlessly clean restaurant, with its simple but elegant decor was somewhere special, and run by a team who were justifiably proud to be working there. Our meal was supeb and the cost including wine exceedingly reasonable by any standards, but let alone for such attentive and friendly service. We will certainly be returning to the Blue Lagoon again in the weeks to come and without waiting for another power outage to give us cause!!

BEWARE of leaving your car!! I went to strawberry fields last week and our car got keyed pretty badly. On contacting the pub they advised nothing they can do till the police contact them and then when they did barely anyone knew how to work the cctv. The pub advised nothing on cctv when the car definitely got scratched in the car park. I feel they just don’t want to look into it properly. We’ve had no contact from the pub about why theirs no footage which does make us wonder. It’s such a shame people feel the need to vandalise a car that we work hard for too.

Great service overall, initially had a bad impression until I was greeted by the lovely young lad Sam. Was checking on us every 5 minutes or so and dealt with our queries efficiently and professionally. Definitely an asset to Hungry Horse. Will visit again hoping to see the same staff

Birthday treat for me usually involves afternoon tea but I had shopping to do. Wahey! Mozzers to the rescue ! I wasn't expecting anything mind-blowing for £12 for two. Cheap n cheerful innit. We often have breakfast here because Wendy and the team are so friendly. WOW ! We got (each) 3 triangle sarnies of prawn mayo, egg mayo and plain hamA pork pieA piece of ginger cake, one of lemon drizzle and one brownieA cheesecake A lovely flat fruit scone with clotted cream and jam Bottomless tea.So impressed with the quality and quantity. All fresh. Couldn't possibly eat it all so had half boxed for later. It was like having 2 on one day as I added chicken, bacon and avo sandwiches to the 2nd sitting.No, it's not the palm court. .but for the money it was amazing. Loved the supermarket radio playing UB40 rat in mi kitchen. Full of sugar and giggly it creased us up.Had to have a lie down in between. Value for money!

Most disgusting McDonalds I’ve had the displeasure of stopping at. I couldn’t use the disabled toilet as it was overflowing with paper. There was water (hope it was only water) all over the floor in the main ladies toilet so I was unable to safely take in my assistance dog. My husband said the gents loo was also overflowing with excrement. Only had a coffee, which took forever to arrive, but tasted fine, so I can’t comment on food quality. Will never go there again.
