I come in here quite often foods all ways great staff are always friendly tonight i came in and had food and I had the chocolate torte desert its the best desert I've ever had it was fresh and looked beautiful and was absolutely delicious and strawberries on side was good I highly recommend you try this desert you won't be disappointed absolutely beautiful ❤

We visited here on Sunday 2nd Feb, party of 16 and although the initial automated booking was a bit tricky we were swiftly assisted on the phone by a very pleasant and friendly lady called Lis. Good work Lis! Hope I’ve spelled that right! Upon our visit the food was brilliant and everyone had a good time including the kids who loved the whacky warehouse afterwards. I did speak to a nice lady afterwards who I think is the owner but wanted to leave a glowing review as well. Overall, the place is clean, with friendly staff (the 2 young lads that brought the food out were very good and wanted to make sure nothing was missing and very polite) We (as a group) will def be returning. Top job all!

Okay so, for reference, I'm comparing this place to my all-time fave chain, which is wetherspoons. The reason for this is because both are chains, and they both compete under the same umbrella of "family friendly gastro-pub chain." Cutting to the chase: More expensive than spoons, and slower service, but better quality food. So far I have tried the breakfast wraps at both, and strawbs does them WAY better, without costing much more at all. Also, the breakfast wraps here are cheaper AND better than at maccies, which is just over the road. Win for strawbs! Coffees here are cheap compared to most places, at 3.49 for unlimited refills, but spoons does the same for barely over a quid. Strawberry Field only has one coffee machine, compared to wetherspoons' TWO coffee machines. The quality is the same at both, but I find strawberry Field charging much more, and with more seats, and only one machine, you can and will be waiting MUCH longer in the coffee queue. A loss for strawberry Field, I'd say. I ordered the spicy Mexican flatbread for brunch this morning, which was served at a temperature low enough to make it unappetising. Something about lukewarm eggs and sausages, and barely melted cheese, made me nervous. I asked them not to remake it, but to reheat it, and they did. Once they did that, it was MUCH better. Genuinely incredible breakfast item, around the 5 quid mark. Only problem is, the staff aren't very attentive. They don't come around and ask you if everything is okay with your food (wetherspoons DO do this), so I had to get up from my table and physically carry my plate to the bar to ask for a reheat. If it had been served hot, or the staff had come back to ask how it was, this would have been an absolute win for strawbs. But, as I had to get up and ask for a reheat, it's just a neutral. Strawbs do PERFECT hash browns, whereas the quality varies at spoons and maccies. Location wise, it's out of town, so I have to drive there. The car park is free though, which is nice. Inconvenient to have to drive over, but the free parking is a win. Spoons don't have that, so this is another neutral. I don't have kids, and I'm not into sport, but if I did have kids and was into sport, strawberry fields would HAVE to win HANDS DOWN, as they have the wacky warehouse, plus multiple screens/projectors showing sports broadcasts. Another nice thing about strawbs: You don't get the same, sad alcoholics filling the place up and killing the vibe. So that's a win. As I say, I view strawbs and spoons as direct competitors, hence the comparison-driven nature of this review. Overall, I'd say strawbs has more to offer for child-rearing families, whereas spoons is better for childless cheapskates like me. One is cheaper and more attentive, and the other has more entertainment and better overall food, with a slight price difference. Seriously though. Your staff need to come back after a few mins and ask if the food is okay. And get more coffee machines. These are the only two shortcomings that really stand out. Otherwise, good job! Edit: Thanks for your reply, Diane. I will deffo be back! I never expect anywhere to match wetherspoons on price and speed, so don't fret about those comparisons. They are not a knock on your team or establishment. They are merely trade-offs for what amounts to higher quality food. Oh, your app is user friendly, and your robot is adorable, by the way. Further Edit: Went back, ordered a breakfast wrap with additional hash browns. It was luke warm, but even more disappointingly, the extra hash browns I ordered were INSIDE the wrap. I assumed I'd have been given them on the side, because that's what everywhere else would have done. So... Yeah. I gave it a few chances, and am now confident in saying I don't like it here. Food not hot on multiple occasions, coffee is expensive, bizarre decisions being made in the kitchen, and the special breakfast gravy is like a gross, watery dinner gravy. Only reason I'll go back at this point is to be fair to my friends who do like it.

Food was great. We did go at a quiet time but as I said, food was first class and the service was just as good. I had the quadzilla burger and the only problem was my eyes were bigger than my belly and I couldn't finish it.

Always love going for our weekly meal with my partner. Food was great 2 pub classics and 2 drinks for under £20 can't get better then that. Staff are welcoming and smiley, a great atmosphere.

The waitress (Emilia) was an absolute gem! She was polite, smiley, helpful and her customer service was on point.

Great place, simple but perfectly executed. Staff lovely and service spot on.

I ordered the 3 for £13 starters and they were really nice and hot! Followed that with Quadzilla Burger which definitely lives up to its name- all this was served by Julia, who came back to see if everything was okay with my food. She recommended the chocolate fudge cake for dessert, which was delicious and safe to say not a spot was left on my plate. Would highly recommend!

Sian at the bar she made sure we knew about all of the offers that were available and made sure we had a brilliant time. Will definitely be returning.

Great choices on the menu but the food was poor! I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Texas toast… the toast was soggy and inedible, chicken was thigh and very pink and soggy, mac and cheese was gluey. The fries were ok but the entire dish was Luke warm. My friend ordered a sizzler which again came out Luke warm, no sizzling at all, the steak was over cooked and the peppers and onions undercooked. Service was ok but not sure I understand the robot with a member of staff following it? I used the baby changing unit I. The disabled toilet, the changing table was clean but there were tiles missing around the sink and it smelt damp. Male staff behind the bar were swearing loudly, the female staff were polite and friendly. The food came out quickly… but I’d have preferred to wait a little longer for a properly cooked meal. *Reply to comment- we never had a check back on how our meals were and the table wasn’t cleared after nearly an hour and we left.

I had the pleasure of being served by Charlotte at the bar recently, and I can confidently say she made my experience truly enjoyable! From the moment I approached the bar, Charlotte greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor that instantly made me feel welcome. Her knowledge of the drink menu was impressive—she offered great recommendations and crafted my cocktail with such skill and precision. It was clear that she is passionate about her work, and her enthusiasm is contagious! Beyond her bartending skills, Charlotte's attentive service and genuine personality made it easy to strike up a conversation, creating a wonderful atmosphere. I left the bar feeling not only satisfied with my drink but also uplifted by the positive energy she brings to her job. Charlotte is a credit to your pub/ restaurant. Very chatty and a lovely hostess. In fact all the staff you have are so kind and accommodating. Drinks great. Food lush. And whole team seem to be a lovely bunch. Thankyou. This is our go to on our days off . Sports always at the ready and great music and atmosphere.

Lovely meals had today, great size portions and great service. Staff (Abbie)were friendly and took the time to speak and interact with the children.

Been twice now and the food is poor. Thought maybe just unlucky 1st time but no, won't be going again. Very very poor food quality

What a difference a year makes we used strawberry fields all the time and became friends with the manager and staff but now we don't go anywhere near now because of the way we have been treated by the manageress my sons partner tried to book a table for a get-together for 10 of us but she said we would have to find her when we come and apologise to her first, we book a table to watch the England match the same table for the forth time but she put us on a table and we could not see a television, we waited till a table was left then ordered our food and drink it was a special offers but the staff didn't put the order in right so we got the wrong meals then when we went to pay the bill was wrong and then she said that the lad that was with us had a larger but he was helping carry the drinks to the table, he was on coke because he was driving so all in all I do not see why I should have to apologise for anything,never go there again

Came here just after Christmas, was extremely busy however Maria was very sweet with us and my kids, enjoyed the food and had a nice time as well as that, my kids enjoyed the soft play a lot, will recommend it to my friends

Overall pub food but of pretty poor quality. We went there as our son could play in the soft play which is great. If you want to eat I would not recommend but if you want to have a drink whilst letting your kids run around in the soft play then good place to go

BEWARE of leaving your car!! I went to strawberry fields last week and our car got keyed pretty badly. On contacting the pub they advised nothing they can do till the police contact them and then when they did barely anyone knew how to work the cctv. The pub advised nothing on cctv when the car definitely got scratched in the car park. I feel they just don’t want to look into it properly. We’ve had no contact from the pub about why theirs no footage which does make us wonder. It’s such a shame people feel the need to vandalise a car that we work hard for too.

Strawberry fields was a lovely clean environment the staff was so friendly and made us feel very welcome especially Alisha who served our tabke nothing was to much trouble for her and we had a very pleasant evening

The food really let's this place down. We bring the grandchildren for the soft play, but twice with them and once with the family, food has been horrendous. Its overcooked, bland, dry, uninspiring. Not one of us on any visit has enjoyed the food. Really disappointing. Next time we will take the kids to soft play then go to McDonald's, at least you can rely on the food.

Nice food at a reasonable price and value for money. Service could have been better from female member of staff….but didn’t spoil the visit.

Gotta say, cheap and cheerful is not always bad , had two more than adequate Sunday lunches, had a pint and a glass of wine, what more do you want for £20 , definitely going back 😊😊

This place has been here twenty years. Frankly the children's play areas are looking tired. Lots of gaffer tape everywhere on splits in the equipment. That said , the kids don't care and it's great fun. Plus you can have food brought to your table in the play area. The food is ok , but quite cheap which is a bonus. A good family place if you're not too fussy. Definitely not a romantic place for dinner for two.

We had the most pleasant of experiences being served by young April! The food was excellent and delicious as was April!

Ordered meals at bar , wrong order taken. Paid difference, and new order placed, waited an hour for food. Within order had 2 New yorker dishes. I COULD NOT eat the chicken, it was so dry felt like I would choke everything I tried to swallow, bacon on top was SOLID. Obviously they got the order wrong, so whilst THEY rectified this they put the New yorker meals in the microwave!!!!!! Disgusted is an understatement. I did tell one of the waitresses it was the WORSE chicken I had ever tasted, even the knife wouldn't cut it. Oh and when asking for more gravy for my granddaughters meal, I was told to order at the till!!!!!!!!

Good food. It is the first time we went in here. It is great atmosphere, good food, and the robot trolley is amazing!! My little daughter loved it!!!! Not to mention the prices and great deals. Kids friendly too. We will definitely come again when around here... 😁

Food was good standard for a hungry horse chain, however the service was shocking.. stood at the bar and two young girls were checking football results instead of serving me.. quite rude, took a ridiculous amount of time for desserts to come out.. I’ve worked for hungry horse they take seconds to take out the fridge and put on a plate.. they let both my daughters in the soft play and THEN after watching my kids go in and start playing proceeded to tell me I had to pay for one child instead of telling me before they let them in… staff were just rude and not very good with hosting.. one lad that did my daughters cake was lovely though can’t fault him he was polite cheerful so thank you for that! We won’t be coming back I was expecting a lot better to be honest.. there was 14 of us so we spent a fair amount there..

For a budget boozer it's pretty good! If you need affordable stodge this is the place for you. Everyone needs an all day breakfast or a huge sundae every once in a while. It's cleaner than some more expensive restaurants and when not too busy a pleasant environment with good wifi. Value for money superb. Very friendly staff.

6 of us went for a late lunch. No wrap available. No fish cake available! Don’t understand why these are only Monday to Friday. !!! Bar man tells us no Jack Daniels available but discovered in cupboard!!!! Lack of training big time!. No apology! You need to up your game!

We went through Evesham the other day on the way back from Bristol airport and passed strawberry field. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, given we had two tired children with our party after an early flight. The food was good, well prepared and plentiful. We had no trouble sitting down and managed to refuel before heading home. The team could not of done more to help us and given how tired we were it was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be going back.

Came in the other day with my partner couldn’t fault the food or service I have the chicken tikka and a thatchers and the other half had chicken New Yorker and an apple and blackcurrant cider. It was so cheap and the food was perfect service was brilliant. The only downside is the toilets looked like they are falling down. Would definitely recommend.

I dont necessarily go out to eat a whole lot, but I really enjoyed my experience with a small gathering at Strawberry Fields. Got a taste of the full english breakfast, which, as far full English breakfasts go, was delicious, and some waffles which were pretty nice in comparison to some other places. A flavourful mocktails really topped the meal off. The associated Wacky Warehouse gave the children a great place to fool around and have fun. Compliments to chef Paulo and the lovely servers Julia and Harry, the customer experience was rather lovely. If this is anything to base the rest of the staff off, I'm beyond pleased. Will be recommending!

We stopped by for lunch. We felt the lunch menu could have had som more options, as we had to revert to dinner options. The food We had was ok. The serving robot is a nice touch.

Came here yesterday for my daughters birthday lunch..such great value for money! I had the lamb kofta wraps which were scrummy! the staff were so lovely, especially the young blonde girl who kept bringing out Bella the robot for my daughter to see. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with good food. Thanks again 😘

Ordered the sunday roast, meal was nice and ready in no time. Chefs Harv, Tim and Paula did a great job along with Dylan the server.

Eaten here regular with family. However we both had rump steak this evening. The worst steak I’ve ever had to digest It was tough to cut, tasteless , full of fat which was very chewable. Both steaks were the same. In the end we both gave up half way through . When plates were taken away I was asked if all was ok. I told the girl it was bad all I got was oh dear. Won’t eat steak here again Kevin

I had a lovely meal with my friends and had lovely service, this was our 2nd time getting served by Julia and each time she makes me feel extremely welcome and pays great detail to customers, nevermind her amazing aura, will definitely be returning again!

Amazing service in the wacky, very helpful & friendly, lady was called charlie made sure I had everything I needed & asked if I needed any help as I had lots of children with me and helped me keep them entertained the children loved her! and I was on my own definitely will return in the near future 😀

Visited the whacky warehouse with my daughter, a staff member named Charli made it great with her kind nature towards us, having patience while my daughter ordered her own food and drink.

Came in today with my family to have lunch as it was curry day we took that opportunity to order 4 we had the chicken Tikka masala, Absolutely divine curry was beautiful. Had a naan bread and onion bhaji and samosas to go with the two kids had chicken korma with naan breads and had an amazing offer on bottles of wine for £7.99. I may or may not of brought two and took one home with me. Haha I do like a cheeky glass of wine service was absolutely amazing and very efficient. All the staff are friendly, this made the whole experience wonderful food was delicious. The place tidy and clean The toilets look like they could do with refurbishment as looked a bit old and worn.

Always lovely to see lis when I come in food is great me and wife love it, drinks are cheap and exceptional service.

Nice friendly atmosphere with lots going on, sports and a good beer in the bar. staff are lovely. Then in the dining areas there are well laid out tables so eating with family and friends is fun. Better food is available elsewhere but value for money it’s hard to find a better place. Lis served us tonight and was fantastic.

Food extremely disappointing also beer flat and warm. Poppadoms were chewy liked they'd been left out overnight. 4 pieces on small cut up chicken in the curry didn't even add up to a small chicken breast, the naan bread again was grease, the onion bhaji was soaked in oil and honestly I didn't even attempt to eat the vegetable samosa. Ordered also the garlic mushrooms they might aswell brought it out just oil no garlic mushrooms the plate was full of pure oil, no garlic taste needless to say we didn't finish. The other half ordered a double cheeseburger this again as pure grease, hardly any mayo on it, the lettuce was wilted. chips barely cooked and onion rings might aswell of been called rubber rings. The kids meal was fine though so if you're coming here for kids food I guess you should be OK. Tables where dirty even after staff had wiped them for us, they still remained sticky and we just felt very dirty in there. We did leave without our son having the pudding we paid for as we felt very sick after a disappointing meal. We'd never come back...it'd also been 3 years since the last time we came and 3 years ago the food was alright....maybe train the chef more.
