Firstly , the staff were so friendly and welcoming and helpful. There was so many options on the menu I didn’t know what to pick but went for a baguette and I can’t express enough how good and delicious it was , lastly the range of cakes they have to offer is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend

What a treat to visit this lovely cafe in such a tranquil, beautiful setting. A bustling cafe selling a mouth watering range of cakes and snacks. Well priced, comfortably set out with friendly, helpful staff. We’re looking forward to coming back!

Found this little gem through a couple of cycling friends I was riding with on a Tourist Trial in 2022. Delighted to visit again last year. Even good enough to be the main destination for a ride from home: (North Birmingham 75 miles). Very friendly and welcoming staff. I'd score the home made scones 5 out of 5. Only caveat is CHECK ON THE WINTER CLOSEING PERIOD.

We called in during a walk and despite being busy they managed to seat us for Sunday lunch. The food was really good quality and plentiful. Not cheap, but great value. The service was also very attentive and friendly. It's a lovely pub and we'll definitely be back.

A great traditional pub, serving first class pub food, first class friendly service. Would recommend it to anyone, who wants a great meal in a pub with a superb atmosphere Great evening!

Of course, the weather was wonderful, which helped the ambiance but we had a lovely time at The Blue Lias today, sitting outside to eat, watching boats going past on the canal. The food, fish and chips, was basic but good quality and well-cooked. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There were plenty of clean water bowls for our dogs, which I had to fill so the water was fresh.
