Having heard how good the food was at Smashing It, i travelled to Perry Bar from Heathrow, and it was worth the journey. The pulled pork and doner pocket (wrap) was like nothing ive ever tasted. Just watching the care put in by the 3 guys who prepare the food is different level. I chatted to Amar (owner) whilst he cooked each customers food. What a humble and passionate guy he is. These guys get busy for very good reason, the food is brilliant. Definatley worth the trip, even if you need to do a detour. It is 5 minutes off M6 motorway at Perry Bar, Birmingham, so if you’re going to a match at Villa or West Brom, it is minutes away. Ill definatley be back !!!

the food is always 10/10, order at least once a month and it’s the best pizza shop in the area love you guys

Last week - first visit, had a bacon and egg sandwich - bacon - rare, prefer it crispier, so this week asked for bacon to be well done. Now i know the difference between well done and decimated (burnt) - it seems you do not. Lets try for third time lucky next week!!

What a transformation and from days long gone so much work thought gone into a dear old part of Aston myself and friends used the Tavern in the eighties so to see it restored to unbelievable expectations is amazing so don’t knock it try it pop in you won’t be disappointed many thanks to Paul and his staff for retaining the Tavern to its wonderful glory 👍❤️

I had my fathers gathering there after his funeral at the crematorium Everyone at the Tennis Court was so helpful accommodating the management went above and beyond to make everything as easy as possible The bar was excellent the facilities were clean . The community really needs to use this venue more can't praise the staff there enough don't lose it use it could not find anything half as good as this in London Thumbs up Thank you
