Fantastic pop-up venue. Jo has created a great space, well thought out to suit a verity if events. The building and surrounding area has its own uniqueness and rich history. I’m lead to believe it used to be an ale house (way back in medi times) when people could attend the fish markets outside and head for a beer before crawling down grope lane for a bit of action 😉😉. It’s also said to have had a dancing bear chained outside the front. Pure entertainment! Shrewsbury is a place oozing with historic value and this space holds that dear to its heart.

Amazing staff, amazing quality, amazing value and they even have a loyalty card to save you even more money, I had a absolutely amazing deal today. It just keeps getting better and better.
I used to use a close competitor of theirs but now will only use these guys, I would highly recommend to passing trade or to people within the trade.
If you have not yet tried these guys make sure you take advantage before you plan your next BBQ!
Top marks!
Bonito pastel de terciopelo rojo comprado desde aquí. Volveré por más. Mi familia disfrutó mucho. Kaniz realmente me ayudó a elegir un pastel y lo hizo en unos minutos.
Myself and my mother finally made our way to Press for the first time recently, and it was a lovely experience. The drinks were very tasty and of good quality. Despite being quite a small shop, the book selection is really good, and the owner has done a good job with making sure there's a good amount of tables without making it feel cramped. There's an amazing selection of drinks and food also which I thought was impressive. Furthermore, it regularly hosts community events, which I think are very much needed locally. I may be biased because this would be my ideal place to hang around all day or work in but it truly is a much needed addition to the area and I hope to be a witness to how it expands over the next few years.
Located next to the Student Union bar, Fusion offers a ginormous restaurant area and full bar.
It's bar service, so order at the bar and pick up your table number then get ready for super fast service.
Fusion was already busy when we decided to try it for a quick dinner before heading over to the Arts Centre for a comedy show, and so the speed of service was greatly appreciated for people on a time limit.
One of our orders arrived with rice instead of chips, no big deal, and we were treated to chips on top of what had arrived to resolve this, no faff of taking the orders back to the kitchen - again, very considerate due to time constraints.
If you're not time limited then there is a set of shelves full of board games to enjoy.
Some of the restaurant was pretty loud from music and tvs playing sport, but this isn't really a problem due to the size of the place. Plenty of option to sit elsewhere.
On the second floor of The Rootes building, but just across the road from Warwick Arts Centre so it's an ideal spot for food and drinks prior to a show or film.
Came across this place by accident whilst looking for somewhere else!
Giant breakfast bap. Everything freshly cooked to order and a decent mug of tea. What more could you ask?
