Myself and my mother finally made our way to Press for the first time recently, and it was a lovely experience. The drinks were very tasty and of good quality. Despite being quite a small shop, the book selection is really good, and the owner has done a good job with making sure there's a good amount of tables without making it feel cramped. There's an amazing selection of drinks and food also which I thought was impressive. Furthermore, it regularly hosts community events, which I think are very much needed locally. I may be biased because this would be my ideal place to hang around all day or work in but it truly is a much needed addition to the area and I hope to be a witness to how it expands over the next few years.

I have been a couple of times for a solo visit for a cuppa and cake and the staff are always friendly. Sometimes I take a book to read, sometimes I mooch the wide selection of books on sale. They also have events such as book club; meet the author and open mic but I haven't attended these yet. Overall, a lovely little independent coffee shop.

This place is so amazing, I genuinely don't know where to start! The staff are so welcoming and there's a real sense of community whenever you go in. They have a wide range of books on all genres, including a wonderful local authors' section. Their drinks are both delicious and affordable. The baked goods are heavenly. The shop itself feels so safe and cozy. To top it off, they host excellent events of all varieties. 10/10, I can't reccomend enough.

Absolutely lovely place to settle for a cuppa or two. The staff are so welcoming, the choice of drinks is enough for anyone. I can't have dairy and they cater for such requirements which is brilliant. They have a small selection of handmade cakes by a local baker and they're worth a try! For two coffees and a cake its about £10. Please support a local business. Nancy and her team and doing superb work!

I only noticed Press last week after a quick walk to the post office, and was immediately drawn to the window. It's so hard to find bookshops in this part of the Midlands let alone an independent book cafe, so this really stands out on the High Street. Press has been open for about six months at the time of writing and from a quick look at their website, they host a lot of live events such as open mics, book clubs and story sessions. Hednesford is a small town but lots of families and older people live here, so we're definitely in need of a place like this! When I did step in, the first thing that struck me was the atmosphere: warm and inviting, lovely coffee aromas, shelves of books, and even a little gifts section with Bird and Blend tea and crocheted bookmarks. The young people who work there are super friendly, and skilled baristas (the coffee I had was wonderful). The cakes are delicious and they even have little themed drinks menus! I didn't purchase any books this time round, but they stock a large variety of genres including manga and graphic novels, LGBTQ+ titles, local authors, and a pre-loved section too. The shop isn't the biggest place so might be worth a note if you want to bring a big group of people here, but you'll get a fantastic welcome. I can definitely see myself visiting again and again. Would recommend!
