The best restaurants in Halstock West Dorset South West

Trees down trying too get too cordcombr too get two free bikes to give to the homeless or people who need them. Like the village pub of olde. Warm and inviting after trespassing for two miles in the pouring rain leaving Angel in the car on a deserted narrow lane.... So a big thankyou for letting me dry out before I went back into the malestrom of havoc leaked by mother nature. Sr least the hunts couldn't go out . My thoughts not the perfect hosts..❤️

What a lovely, unexpected experience. We wanted a quick lunch whilst waiting for family to meet up with us and with many cafes and restaurants closed for Christmas we came across this gem. The waitress greeted us with a smile, handed us menus and said to take a seat as there was table service. The sandwiches, fries and tea we ordered was very quickly served and everything was delicious. The fries were hot and the sandwiches were very fresh and so tasty. We even had to order more fries for my grandson, he enjoyed them so much. The next time we are in Dorchester we will definitely be eating here and will make time to look around the museum as well. Wonderful staff and great food, just what we needed.

Came to the Albert George Hotel for a spa treatment and the use the of facilities was a fab experience felt well relaxed an refreshed would recommend

We spent the afternoon here with friends that traveled a long way to see us. We had a wonderful Christmas lunch, and it really was wonderful. The food was gorgeous, (and home made!) the table looked beautiful too. They were so friendly and attentive, there’s not one thing I would change. Great atmosphere, and I’ll say it again, delicious food. Thank you for a fantastic time.

The menu was good and the quality of the food was good. The service was very slow even though the restaurant was only half full. The ambiance wasn't brilliant.
