The best restaurants in Rodborough Stroud South West

We have had quite a few takeaways from Here now and consistently really impressed . The pizzas are delicious with fresh, tasty toppings (I especially like the goats cheese one). The burgers are superb and we both agree best we’ve had. We usually have the beef burger but last night both tried the chicken, it was so delicious! Panko breadcrumbs, brioche bun etc. The chips are always good (sprinkled with oregano I think ?) and last night tried a brownie for the first time (raspberry and white chocolate.. divine !!). So pleased that this business is here in Dursley. Lovely people too, always. Delivery.

This is a total gem. Up on a hill and nearly a totally isolated spot of beauty. The veranda is a sun trap. The owner Dale is a very amiable chap. The views are gorgeous. Good range of drinks. Perfect stop place for a walk. I highly recommend this lovely waterhole to anyone.

Food was poor, customer service even worse! Bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadddddddddd! Do not recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never ever leave a review but this was a must! Save your money!!!!!!! Have a piece of toast instead!!!

Googled a pub around Stroud and came upon this one. Emailed to reserve a table and had a confirmation email back within an hour or so. A smiley lady behind the bar directed us to the restaurant. Greeted by a young lady who was very pleasant. 5 of us in our party including an 8 year old and an 11 year old. Ordered ciabatta, baguette, omelette and jacket potato. All of which was freshly prepared, well presented and good quality and arrived fairly swiftly. Husband had a pint of Butty Bach which seemed to go down well! There was a children's menu but our children preferred a baguette! Children's menu was fairly standard but mash on offer as well as chips. Will definitely return.

Myself and family had a meal here last night and gotta say it was absolutely amazing!!! Not only was the food amazing the service and hospitality of all the staff was first class too !!! We were a big group of 18 with lots of young kids and the staff were very accommodating. Can’t recommend this place enough

Just a mega thankyou to all at Oldfields from Homeavon House. We had 30 fish and chips delivered , on time and piping hot, for our Halloween lunch. Every meal was spot on so I had very happy bunnies....they are already asking when I am arranging the next one!!!! So thanks again....until the next time!!!! 😍 Sue.

I think it is excellent cafe value for money,and would hate to see it close down it is thriving and there staff work extremely hard and it is a lovely meeting place for friends
