Absolutely fab. I made a special journey for a chocolate millionaire shortbroad. Just yummy.

Gone back downhill since being taken back on. Used to be awful, new owners really turned it around and the place was amazing. New owners have taken it back on and it's gone back the greasy mess it was prior. Won't be back. Post response: We've been in twice since it was taken over. 1st time we noticed a significant drop in food quality. Soggy, oily and greasy chips and oily batter. Whoever took over from the original owner really turned the place around, now it's back to how it used to be. 2nd time my partner went in and gave it the benefit of the doubt but couldn't even finish the meal as was so soggy and oily.

Great nights, with the empties ready to go. Never a dull night and a great leaving party for the two travellers. Have a great trip

I took an 89 year old friend to have the Sunday carvery. The food was perfect and the staff were really friendly and kind. My friend said that the meat was lovely, and tender, rather necessary with 89 year old teeth! She also said that the atmosphere was like being amongst friends and that this was her favourite place to eat. Mine too!

We have been to this lovely place a few times now and love the quality and quantity of their food, all dished up with great service. This time we stopped off for breakfast and then headed to the haynes motor museum and when we finished there, we made our way back down again for our lunch/dinner at this wonderfull place. WE LOOK FOREWARD TO OUR NEXT VISIT. KEEP UP THE HARD GREAT WORK.

I was hoping to grab a light bite or a sandwich but sadly we were unable to get any food as they were only serving meals that were priced more than £20. I visited the garden centre with my elderly relatives and had to take them elsewhere. This put a bit of a dampener on what was otherwise a lovely visit.
