We have visited The Duck on various occasions. This time a visiting friend asked to go again, which we were more than happy to oblige. Again the atmosphere, food and drink were excellent. The staff are always very happy and helpful, this time a special mention to Poppy as it was her birthday 🎈. Also a shout out to the chef, Ben, thank you for making a fantastic gluten free pasta dish 😋 thank you everyone again. Will be back again soon😊

Tonight we had the Lamb Rump in blackberry wine sauce followed by the Baileys Cheescake. The blackberry wine sauce was outstanding. The meal was fantastic . Every mouthful was like a dream come true. As always we were made welcome by the staff and other customers.

Avoid at all costs. Been here a few times before & was excellent. Obviously has new tennants who havent got a clue how to run a pub. Friday night was fish night and yet they only had white fish, which was grey and mushy & had a thick soggy batter.Was told it was cod, probably minnow given the size of the fish in the batter.Chips were soggy and were rubbery. This pub was dark,cold and empty on a friday night ,this should have rung alarm bells. Needless to say declined to pay the bill.,

Our company used Leather & Lace for a recent catering event for a VIP visit. Both the communication and quality of food supplied was spectacular. Julie went that extra mile to research traditional food choices for our overseas guests to make them feel at home. The array of choices was fantastic and the presentation was second to none. The feedback from my team was very positive. Can't wait to visit the pub next month with my team!

Stopped for breakfast bap and drinkWe had one crispy bacon bap with ketchup I asked that the bacon be crispy, as last time not so much. This time plenty of bacon but alas, still not crispy. Makes for a chewy bap. Had a sausage and caramelised onion cheesy bap. The sausages were delicious, bap was well toasted cheesy taste not so nice, as faux cheesy bit not pleasant to my taste. Coffee v pleasant Did not have to wait an age so that is a plus. Thank you
