Has the beef with lemongrass, green beans and rice. Thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and flavour. My daughter had the crispy tofu noodle soup. A feast for the eye as well as the taste buds. We shared some veg. rolled in thin pancakes with a peanut dip. Staff are helpful and friendly. Price is very reasonable. It's basic table and chairs , some shared tables, but its street food ambience is fine. The market has great food places and it's a joy to start discovering them.
We went for dessert, but they also did savoury waffles. If I hadn’t already had lunch, I would have loved to try a savoury waffle too. The customer service was good and you could customise your waffle (my friends shared one and split the toppings 50/50).
The waffle options were great!! All waffles could be done gluten and vegan. There were lots of gf/v toppings too. It’s not easy to make a good quality gf waffle, so it’s great that they managed to make one that’s a good quality.
Usually, if you go to a dessert lounge, you feel sick afterwards. I had a full-sized waffle (gf) with vegan chocolate spread (like vegan Nutella) and chopped nuts. It was brilliant, not too sweet, but a nice treat (I haven’t had a waffle in a long time, but those used to be one of my fave desserts). If you like very sugary desserts, there are plenty of options, but if you just want a light treat, then they have plenty of options.
Popped in for lunch for the first time. Chose the Beef Cari, which was amazing. I had it with rice and the mango chutney. I'm a bit of a fiend for mango chutney, and it was really tasty as was the whole meal. Definitely need to pop back and try some other parts of the menu. Go support Maurish and Jodie. Its a great restaurant!

Authentic dishes with amazing flavours. The sharing platter for two did not dissapoint on both flavour, portion size and price. Amazing service with a very warm welcome, we will definitley be returning.
A return visit with visiting family from Wales. Food great as usual, Jackie and Carl friendly as ever, always make you welcome. Family want to come back next time they are in Plymouth as they live in Wales.
Been a few times and always great! Food is very tasty! Relaxed atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and games on the tables to keep you entertained too. Love it. Thanks Tilt team
This place is such a gem in the market. Please visit because I never thought I would enjoy this, but my son insisted and I had a bite and I was so surprised by how yummy her freshly made Korean Corn Dogs are. We have been back many time since- which is a testament to how good they are. Also very good value for money. Priced very well.
I found this stall a couple of years ago and travel from Torbay to visit it. My favourire dish that I have tried so far is the crispy belly pork, which is just awesome. Massaman curry (peanut based) is great too. So many nice dishes.
I would never of gone in there. It was pouring with rain, rather than get soaked I popped in. What I received was a very warm welcome and a very good breakfast type meal. It was excellent value for money, cooked to perfection. As and when I visit the area, I will pop in again to enjoy good food at a good price.
I needed a fabulous vegan carrot cake for my daughter’s 21st birthday and Ladybird didn’t disappoint.
I contacted Ladybird who, with only a weeks notice, produced the most gorgeous vegan carrot cake. Communication was great in regards to added ingredients, icing, decoration etc. For a small fee the cake was also delivered.
Amazing service and cake demolished 😋
