Staff here were brilliant, Rachel and Georgia were on duty and although they were very busy they kept the tables clear and gave their customers a great service - they were constantly busy :)

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, I will definitely be back. Nicely decorated eating area well presented, very friendly and professional staff who really added to our experience, particularly Jane and Sarah. The quality of the food was far above what I expected. I had a scallop starter and duck main course and both were cooked to perfection. The duck was pink and tender with delicious accompaniments. The scallops were served with various other bits which were all incredibly tasty and cooked exactly as I would always wish to at home, but never manage! We didn't have dessert as we were full, but I will definitely be returning. Not cheap, but could be quite a bit more expensive given the quality of the food. I'll be back as often as I can!

Magnificent pub! Popped in for a bite of lunch and a pint with my wife. Food was excellent. Cranberry sauce and tartar sauce both home made. Beer was Yellow Hammer

The traditional cooked breakfasts here are very good, the coffee superb, the people are friendly and the service is excellent. However, Out of all the scores of vegan sausages available, they managed to produce, for over £7 a sandwich containing two small, mashed potato, pea and carrot croquettes between two slices of bread, which I abandoned. So, then I ordered the most expensive, tiny, cheese scone in the world. It cost £5.25, and was red hot and heavy as lead - with no discernible taste of cheese. My wife had a tea cake. With drinks the bill was around £24. So stick to the cooked breakfasts is my advice.
