Staff here were brilliant, Rachel and Georgia were on duty and although they were very busy they kept the tables clear and gave their customers a great service - they were constantly busy :)

Visited here to pick up some bits as live locally - visited the cafe also whilst there and they were extremely busy - there was about a 20 minute wait on food which I was made aware of, the food was cooked fresh to order by Rachel and Lynn. Good team work

Great tasting and very filling food for a good price. There's always a warm welcome at Mel's and I've been quite a few times now! The coffee is excellent, the cooked breakfasts are really tasty and use good quality ingredients. You can even pay it forward and help other people by contributing a bit more when you pay so they can support others in need. The new lunches are great value and very tasty. My son devoured the absolutely huge chicken and ribs combo pictured and said it was delicious. Liver and bacon is also on the menu, which pleased my Mum as she said she hadn't had it in years. All round excellent place for a quick bit or a larger meal.

We went here one Tuesday lunch time me my husband daughter and two grandchildren. We arrived and were shown into a conservatory part very nice. We were served with our drinks very quickly and were given the menus. The lady came and took.our order and a little while later the food arrived. Our meals were excellent couldn't fault them at all. All in all a lovely place and great staff. Will definitely return. Anne walker
