We had a great lunch on Saturday with family, including our 4 year old daughter. The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! They’d only just recovered from a power cut and still had no signal but handled it calmly & professionally. The decor is really pretty and cosy too. We would absolutely recommend and will be back next time we visit :-)

Had a lovely evening meal a little while ago and the fab staff recommended the Sunday lunch which we had today. That's one of the best Sunday lunches I've eaten out in a very long time. Succulent beef, fab roasties, properly made cauliflower cheese and the menu boast about 'proper' gravy is true. Piping hot and tasty. The croquettes for starter were fab, very meaty and the pickled vegetables cut through that perfectly. Loved the puds too! Plus the staff are brilliant and the place is cosy. Will be returning.

Stopped here for lunch on way home from hoilday, plenty of parking and seating available inside and out , Had a light lunch baguettes my partner had prawn mayo and I had sausage with bri and onion , both lovely freshly baked baguettes. Plenty of drinks to pick from and dog friendly inside too .

Stayed for my Dad's 80th birthday. The B&B is lovely - very special rooms, unique building, friendly staff and the breakfast was fine. It would have scored a 5/5. The celebratory dinner we had though was disappointing - we were stuck in a corner in the bar rather than one of the nice dining rooms, despite booking months in advance and being clear this was a special occasion. The service was not great - a young lad with little experience - and the food was average. 3/5 for a disappointing dining experience. I'd recommend the B&B but don't go here for a special evening.

Tuesday 17 September 2024, after visiting Westwood Manor, which has no tea room we decided to drive the ten minutes it took to get to Farleigh Road Farm Shop & Cafe. ‘Farleigh Hungerford Farm Shop & Cafe’ is a really nice place to go for a lunch or snacks. As it was quite warm and humid, my husband and I sat inside at a nice table in there lovely air conditioned restaurant. My husband had a nice pot of tea and a large slice of lemon curd cake. I had a lovely thick and very cold strawberry milkshake, which was really refreshing and a large slice of lemon, almond and blueberry cake, which was delicious. We then went into the farm shop where I purchased some biscuits for my mom as a gift.
