If you have to wait its only because of the popularity or such an amazing dining experience. The consistency is on point and the staff are hardworking, courteous and amazing . Fantastic country pub in a beautiful location. We started and finished our walk from here yesterday and all 17 of us had lunch afterwards. The food and service were absolutely exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars all the way!!

First time visiting this cafe despite having driven past it numerous times. Such a fabulous spot with views over the valley to Dumpdon Hill Fort. With huge floor to ceiling windows you can experience the outside even on the coldest of days. For warmer times there looks to be plenty of seating outside too. Fabulous to see a deer run down to the River Otter whilst having our lunch. The food menu is quite limited and a little on the high side price wise, but the food you get is really tasty and filling. Great to see there is gluten free bread available, but you do get a slightly smaller sandwich than the regular bread and a 50p surcharge. What you pay for here though is the wonderful space they’ve created for you to dine in. Didn’t indulge this time, but they do have an amazing array of ice-creams.

Came here for a Sunday roast. Thank you to the owner who accommodated us with short notice. We are so pleased he did as we ended up having the best roast dinner we’ve ever had. Absolutely beautiful. My husband had the roast chicken and I had the vegetarian option. Butternut squash, celeriac and fennel. Rich and tasty and just could not fault it. Can’t recommend the food here enough. Great service and very welcoming.

This Starbucks is quite frankly disgusting. Worst I’ve seen. Poor Service, cleanliness of cafe dreadful. Toilets stink even in cafe and dirty. And you have to listen to loud crazy music, hardly any food. I didn’t sit in and couldn’t wait to get out.
