The best restaurants in Lelant and Carbis Bay Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

I recently dined here with my partner, and we left feeling very disappointed. From start to finish, the experience didn’t match the price at all. The quality of the food was lacking; my partner ordered two mains as he usually does, but the pork belly was a letdown—no crispiness, no flavor. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, yet the chefs still managed to forget one of our starters and a main dish. For the prices they’re charging, I expected far better. There are definitely much better places to dine in town.

Exceptional service at this restaurant by the waitress and waiter I visited with my daughter and little grandson We both have allergies gluten / dairy Nothing was too much trouble for the very nice waitress that served us - who was so helpful and kind She explained that we could actually have most of what was on the menu as it could be adapted I had a delicious king prawn penne My daughter and grandson a delicious pizza each from the lunchtime menu I thought the meals were very good value which included a drink - beer, wine or soft drink We look forward to our next visit !

We had lunch in The Orangery. My husbands fish and chips was very nice however I had the steak. I can honestly say it was the worse bit of steak I have ever been served in a restaurant. In hindsight I should have gone for the fish and chips can’t go wrong with that.

Was nice to be able to stop and have a light bite after visiting Carbis Bay beach for the afternoon. A bacon sandwich each, beer and an ice cream, with a seating and a stunning view, can't complain.
